MM necro, pet zoo problem
Please don’t get MM nerfed more… MM is already in a rough spot right now because of Condi necros, Engineers, Staff ele, basically anything with AOE and/or CC.
Sure, stop team stacking for classes (cap 2), that will fix that issue but please don’t set off another MM cry fest. Its awful right now. I’m currently respeccing condi cause runes of the nightmare are skillful and fun.

It depends what you play. But its entirely possible that you cannot stay on point vs a MM necro.
However it may be i think its annoying to play vs one but they arent overpowered in my honest opinion. they do force you to fight off point but you cant really say that a MM necro would be owning you in any other situation

I agree i don’t have problem with MM itself , only with abusing game machanic, cap max 2 ppl from the same class should be good solution,

well, I’m ALL for removing class stacking. I hate just about any 5x team. 5 bunker guardians, 5 mesmers, 5 warriors, 5 engineer, you name it. Even if it’s beatable it’s almost guaranteed VERY annoying.

Well yes, it can be annoying. It should definitly be something they should be looking at.
I just wonder if we have enough people to do that at the moment.
I mean if they want to balance the rank system out aswel so that you dont get queued with newbies it’ll force limitations aswel.
I’d rather play a 1 min queue pop with more or less the same classes then wait 30 minutes for a game.
MM necro isn’t overpowered but multiple of pet zoo ranger and mm necro can be about as anti fun as this game can be to fight with your screen cluttered with an unholy amount of crap. I’ve fought a team with two mm, one pet zoo ranger and one mesmer once, I honestly felt like pressing ALT+F4 every time I entered the mid point fight.
The build just shouldn’t exist anyway. Anything that relies on AI pets that much has no place in active combat. Instead of a nerf I would ask for an outright removal of the offending utilities.
Only problem I have with these pet zoo/clone zoo/etc zoo that 5 target is the AoE cap.
I use AoE. And the player is not being hit by my skill because it’s petting zoo already have 5 nice members, so basically I use AoE and can’t hit the player.

But as it is with anything outcomping is often the dealbreaker for most matchups.
And if you encounter 2+ MM you need some AoE’s in your team.
Even if this might not be a direct solution you should consider getting a powermancer or dd ele as an alt. Imho those builds really make short work out of minions.
Also keep in mind MM without minions is dead weight for 20 sec and needs to resummon for ~5 sec total.

Actually, 6 seconds total without being interrupted (never happens) and 7.5 if you run Bloodfiend :P The downtime for MM and vulnerability frame is huge. xD Plus they have no stability/protection/evades, and DS only tends to save about 5-8 seconds for an MM under heavy fire.

Buuuut it takes longer then 20 sec for flesh golem to be ready again so it is most likely the 3 utility minions that can be recast.
And yeah, the point i tried to make is what you also stated, the typical MM is really worthless without minions and it is a question of: “Did you bring the right class or build to the game?” which is a problem with every class stack (multiple guards/wars scream for boon removal, multi engi/condi nec scream for con removal, etc.)
they must be bored and just trolling newbies in tpvp. anyways MM necro sucks now and so players who still play them in arena.

MM does kinda suck now. I gave it up for tPVP because AOE and burst is just too night for playing something with so little AOE and defesnes/mobility. There are far better and more useful options now that basically render them useless in higher play.
