Call it what you want: hack/bug/issue/cheat……

I’ve noticed that in the last month, in Ranked PvP matches, some players while in a downed state suddenly slide/run/move away (“rubberbanding”) from a me & or team mates trying to stomp them. (No, I’m not talking about a Ranger pulling them to safety, or any other skill that would do similar behaviors). It’s like their lagging out, but their not. As soon as they’ve been healed from down state, they play like nothing ever happened and have no more “lag” associated to them. And, my connection is fine. Ping at 50-100 on 30-50MB/per sec.

Obviously, this causes major concerns. I’m/we are losing matches because of this issue. And, it doesn’t just happen once or twice, it happens often. Please – look into it ASAP. Afterall, isn’t this supposed to be a fair and balance Season 2 PvP?

Happening way too often nowadays.

It’s a bug and I even defended the other team by noting that it’s a bug and they likely aren’t hacking.

Should have saved the staff 5 for the rez (he had a druid backup so I knew it was coming) but on the second down I had to phase traversal to ensure I’d be near the hitbox then I tried stomping, couldn’t, and had to cleave.

Felt good about beating the Mesmer later but only did so because staff 2 chained crits.

The video shows something that only works with melee. Ranged projectiles will target the dummy bug as it runs in to the distance, marks/traps won’t activate on downed bodies and of course you can’t stomp. In other words, you can only deal with the bug if you have melee or ground targeting.

It’s actually a true game breaking bug and it needs immediate attention. Too bad it won’t get it.

It is quite gamebreaking but we should use workarounds as we find them.

Happens in wvw aswell, latest build doesn’t mention any fix.
