In the past, I’m that guy that run those off-meta builds cuz it’s fun… I win some, I lose some, whatever. Now, every match, It’s the same old meta builds that you get them off of metabattle.com. Sometimes, i would see couple of those off meta builds. I get it, people are bored with meta builds, BUT DAM THOSE OFF-META BUILDS ARE kittenTY. Give us better build diversity please!!!!

Getting sick of seeing tons of traits and utilities not even worth taking. When was the last time you saw a turret engi, glyph ele, or shout war. There is so much potential that could be used, and instead of buffing things that dont work to achieve balance, they buff things that are already mandatory. Like Lead Attacks on thief, for example. That only pigeonholed them more into the Trickery trait line, while they could have put it on something like Critical Strikes, for instance.

Seriously me and a friend everytime we log in pick some random class and come up with a totally not meta build for it and run it. We’ve found some surprisingly strong builds doing that.

There is more build diversity out there than you think guys… It is still fun to experiment with builds, just keep working with em….. Just yesterday I was playing around with core Mesmer builds and found one that allowed me to 1v2 a decent Mesmer and DH and had a 100% win ratio with that build.

Don’t give up, just make sure to change your playstyle with the new build you make. Don’t expect to make a damage dealing engineer build and then try to face-tank everything like a scrapper.
