Guild Wars 2

matchmaking quality has dropped considerably in the last weeks, no doubt due to the lack of players actually still playing it, and now it is back to the catastrophic s2 levels of 9 out of 10 games are less than 200-250 pts on one side …. For the first ~3 weeks I was actually getting very decent games, and at least 7-8 were in the 400+ pts region, and were very close in general, but by now it is totally screwed.

Obviously the worse the games are the less player will play so it gets even worse, makes even more ppl quit, etc.

So the question is why are seasons this long to begin with? In theory I wouldnt be against long seasons but with the state of the current game it is very unpractical.

Make more seasons and have them last half this long would be much more enjoyable.

This season is kinda special…most people have achievements and legendary back. Other thing that some like me are in division that they want so they have time to farm achievements from new map.

i think best way to do this is make new thing for people to accomplish every 2 seasons. so that people who are behind will keep playing and those who finish early can have new goals or objective to keep playing.
