Guild Wars 2

As the title says it would be really cool for SoloQ to add a sound when someone pings the map, because in the heat of battle not everyone is looking at the map.

What do you think ?

Ah you mean those nice pinging sounds they had in guild wars 1. For some reason Anet decided not to give us those. I guess they decided it won’t make it into the game when they decided to trash the majority of gw1 mechanics.

One thing that would be very helpful in addition to map sounds, is the pinging sound when you call out a target. Because the voices are usually not heard.

Yes they should have sounds, or you should be able to set an emote like when map pings make a certain sound.

Pinging map doesn’t always work though its bugged, sometimes during fight or after fight I’m unable to draw or ping map, just not sure why.

Map ping sounds are crucial to Solo-Queue.

I don’t play with sound. It annoys me. All those clinking and swiftness sounds, groans and moans. It would be nice if you could turn off all non-useful sounds.

I just listen to my spotify when I play.

Nobody ever seems to even react to or notice my map pings. Bring back the sound from GW1, it seems obvious to me that this is necessary.

Also agree with the guy that said it’s bugged and pings do not always work. I have had the same problem.

Sometimes I catch a ping on the map when I’m wtahcing positions, but not often. Would be crucial.

/Signed for the GW1 sound while pinging – But it needs a spam filter.. 3 pings in 10 secs would be more than enough.
