As the title suggests i’ve been having massive fps drop when the scoreboard pops-up in a pvp match. Pressing B has become a habit, so everytime I do this my screen freezes for 2-3 seconds, wich can be quite punishing when playing a zerk build.

Is anyone else experiencing this? It’s been happening since 2 days now.

I’ve tried repairing my client twice, sadly without results.
Really hope someone knows how to fix this, because this is pretty kitten annoying.

Maybe there is something different about your hardware, or the type of match you were playing in, or the specific data attempting to be shown on the scoreboard.

this happens to me pretty much all the time, and you’re right, it has been since December. It isn’t one specific match, it’s a constant problem. I doubt it’s lacking hardware, I have a pretty solid build

Ive been getting this same issue as well. Thought I was the only one but apparently not. I get 1-2s screen freezes whenever bringing the scoreboard up

This is such a pain. I get it every time scoreboard comes up. I know when the game is over because the game freezes for a split second before score is shown also. I feel like I changed some visual settings and it began happening after that.

This is the vengeance of turrets.

Perhaps the system that the game is run on is a turret and this is the effect of using daze on the system since they’re now susceptible to condis.

it happens to me and my friends too!

i7-4790k + radeon r9 270

and yes it happened around december patch

I’ve never had this issue before but have been affecting by it as of Monday (4/27). I can’t recall making any changes to the game options or my system in general. It just seemed to start out of nowhere.

I tried changing different display settings. I thought maybe it was windowed/full screen but nope. It is really aggravating. I’ve seen it in the past and it always went away.

And here I was ready to come back to do ranked queues now that Turret Engi has been properly humbled.

Just don’t hit b during the match? Individual score is misleading anyway. Or does the lag persist during the entire match if you hit b just once? You could unbind it temporarily. I know it would be not ideal to not see their team comp prior to match, but this seems like a big that can be avoided until they find the issue.

On the issue: if one account has an issue and the second doesn’t on the same issue, to me that suggests it has to do with something it’s displaying, like reward track. Has anyone had this happen and then not happen later?

It started for me roughtly 2 weeks ago after a small patch

Same here getting that frame lag every time when I pop my scoreboard.

This is an account based issue, I have been experiencing this as well. My guess is that certain data is accessed/calculated when the scoreboard window is opened(Similar to when opening a large guild window) and it momentarily freezes the game.

I only have this issue with my main account, my alts do not experience this issue but a fix would be really nice.
In other words, it is not a hardware issue on the user end, it is something on the Anet servers specific to some accounts.

I thought i was going crazy or my PC was performing badly. Yes i have the same issue as OP, 2-3 seconds as mentioned. Also i think it kicked in for me after the camera changes patch. I also know you guys changed something with rendering so maybe look into that?

I also have this problem, and experience 2-3 second freezes whenever I open the scoreboard in a pvp match. I had to unbind B because of this. I cannot verify whether it is an account based problem or not, as I only use one account.

Bumping this thread, because this is still very much an issue.

my PC specs. Windows 7| i7 2600k at 4.8ghz.| 8gb RAM |,GTX 580 GPU, my internet speed averaging at 300Mbps to 800Mbps (1 Giga plan)

Happy to give logs / outputs- definitely hit in the December patch.
My potato is:
I7 920 OC to 3.8ghz, Gtx 260
— dps drops to about 10 fps (possibly 0) when hitting B and quickly goes back up to 60 for.

bumping this thread, because I have had this issue for a couple of weeks now. It is most certainly account based, because when I open the scoreboard, it momentarily freezes my game. My friend came over and logged into his account on my computer and he has no issues at all.

Plz fix

I have the same issue, but only on my main account, others work fine. Can we get a fix finally? Five months is a long time.

Please fix this!
