Massive lag spikes in sPvP
I don’t get it that bad. My ping is up in the hundreds most definitely. If ever I’m downloading anything at the same time the responsiveness of this game becomes 0 and you will do flips and cats.
I can tell you that having a ping in the 100s is fun. If you try to vapor form away from someone by going over a cliff and landing at the bottom, they can down you from the top of the cliff out of line of sight. I assume on their client I am at the top of the cliff. Just like when you get shot in the head in cod and watch the replay and you were (on your screen) no where near where they shot you (on their screen).

I think it has had something to do with the Halloween patches. This issue started with me shortly after the events first rolled out on the 22nd I think.
I will get massive frame rate drops for no reason mid games.
I just left the game a few moments ago after experiencing these massive spikes as well.
Not sure where they came from since I haven’t sPvP’d much lately.
EU server, that is, so Sandy can’t really be the issue.
Same issues here. Lags about 10 to 20 sec.
First i thought its my internet, but after that time (while attacking or stomping whatever) the other player still were at same place and my ping was ok.
Any news on when this issue gonna be solved? Pretty much GW2 is unplayable for me
Not having lag spikes, but a constant unresponsiveness. My ping to everything else is fine, and no packet loss. Nothing downloading, no changes from my normal routine, but everything is taking a half second or longer to activate after pressing a key. Really makes playing an Ele hard-mode.
I’ve had these MASSIVE lag spikes yesterday pretty much all evening. EU so no sandy issue.
Issue still persists for me, EU aswell, Anet answer if this is a known issue would be greatly apprechiated
it is a possibility that it occured with the haloween updates, time seems to fall in line roughly
