I am not much of a PvP fan, but I tried it out a little after launch abd it was fairly fun, I haven’t played since. But I decided to give it a try again, which was a mistake.

GW2 PvP is broken. 1 simple reason match making is broken to no end. I just did 10+ games where my team was always lower than rank 10, and the enemy team were all 25+. Now I know Rank doesn’t mean skill but it does mean more time in PvP played and usually even bad players will pick up some skill by then. I don’t feel match making works at all. my teams had literally NO chance, it took the 2+ people minimum to kill anyone. And I finally see why people are kittening about on the forums about necros. Not every necro is good, but when you get matched up vs one who knows how to fear well I would be feared until dead. I couldn’t do a kitten thing. But this isn’t about necros, they needed their buff. But ranking teams of player who have almost no time played in PvP vs teams where the players have been playing a ton is no fair to the lower ranked people. It is going to turn would be PvPers away

I doubt I will ever step in PvP again. And I wonder why I hate PvP in games, poor match making makes thing so annoying for a new PvPer, it is very disheartening

Rank means nothing so its okay to matchmake a game like this.

See that sucks for the 4 new PvPers, odds are they wont keep playing if they keep getting matches like that.

It’s anet developers fault for making them considered as 80% rather than starting every newplayer as 0%.

Is this all you do? Bash ArenaNet for their “flawed” matchmaking system when you’re the only one experiencing this worldwide epidemic?

Honestly I don’t think the matchmaking is all that bad. I almost always play tpvp as a team and we usually do well. Yesterday I did 4 solo que matches on my bunker elementalist and won the first 3 in a row. And not blowouts, these were close games. You need to let people know what you plan on doing in team chat and it will go a long way. Tpvp is not hotjoin….you need to work together as a team to win. I rarely ever see low ranks in tpvp….most are usually close to my own. Just my experience.

What level are you in PvP? Because if you are low rank,you will get team up with other low rank. But if you are lucky to team up with high rank PvPers, they will blame match matching again for let them team up with a low PvPers. I don’t say you are bad PvPers, it is simply how the way match matching work ATM. Until Anet decides to put Rank Bracket for tPvP, things will never be changed.
