So I’d like to just take a second and inform you all of this horrendous game.

I get in a game with a good mindset to improve myself as a player.

The game starts off as a 4v5. Turns out, someone on the enemy team paid our mesmer to DC and make it a 4v5. He comes back last second even…. the enemy team starts talking trash after we call them out to boot.

And I know this isn’t uncommon. And I know none of these players will be banned/suspended/infracted/anything. I suppose this is pay to win in a whole different sense!

This sounds like a serious issue, yet I don’t think that your screenshot is enough of a proof. If you got his name, try to whisper him to dc and you pay him, record it and send it to Anet.
Generally someone who was disconnected for the major part of a game, should count as leaving / dc.

I can try if I see him again. I have the original screenshots w/ names but cant “name and shame”.

If its true, thats a whole new level gw2 community stooped to.

But that screenshot just records hearsay, so idk… just report it via ticket (not ig reporting tool, it takes too long).

If they did pay him, they probably did via ig mail and its quite easily traceable.

But… today several players had trouble with their connections… I got two dcs in one match (one per side) at beginning, until about mid to end of match when they were able to log in again.

It is patchday after all, playing at your own risk.

Yeah patch day. Peoples connections can get a bit squiffy. Mine normally dose, but it’s been good today. The login server has liked me.
