So I have 2000 match win chests.

I know that the crafting materials will be removed after 14th.

My question is will the match win chests also be removed?

If it’s not going to be removed than what will be in the chest?

If armor than what do we get if we salvage it?

Are we going to get more or less trash by opening these chests after patch?

I am not opening 2000 chests at the moment because the time it takes to open them is not worth the reward since I have every armor piece already, the only items i would get is useless crafting materials that can be made into dyes. Oh they also drop Luck which is also not worth the time.

^Luck is ‘worth’ your time as it will affect the drops you get with the new reward track, unless you don’t care about that.

You need to open them to get any skins you don’t have and the luck. I don’t know if they will be deleted but they have said to open them.

Well, problem is i have already got 110% luck , it will take 2000 chest to get 1% which is not worth the time. again I would appreciate it if a DEV answer the real question. WHICH is will the match win chests be deleted.

I am not a dev, but I am 95% sure I read a dev post that stated unopened chests are going to be deleted after 4/15. Couldn’t find it though, because that search function.

With 2000 chests you’ll get an insane amount of luck, probably around 30% or even way more than that.

I’m pretty much in the same boat with match win reward chests… They would be actually worth something if you didn’t have to spend glory to convert the trash crafting mats into dye’s.

It’s kind of sad if you consider these rewards would be equivalent to like thousands armor salvages in PvE.

You have to salvage the items to get the luck…xD we’re talking about mystery chests, right? you’ll get a lot of luck if you salvage the items. Probably still true for random chests.

He has 110% luck already. The amount of points necessary keep going up, so it means he’s not going to get enough luck to shift even a single point from hi 2000 chests.

Yea but if he doesn’t have glory, all the mats he gets from salvaging are useless.

It’s just not right. We should be able to buy armor/weapon tokens with coin. Not allowing for that option was a mistake.

It was, but Anet won’t admit to it nor do anything about it so that’s that.
