My last 4 matches were like this:

1112 vs 5
11111 vs 5
1112 vs 14
1112 vs 5

I don’t remember exactly the numbers, but they were totally unbalanced and boring for BOTH teams.

As premade, do you like to stomp people or you are bored?
As solo player, do you have matches like me or matchmaking is good for you?

Same. Left most of those games, no fun to play in premade vs premade match as soloQ.
But it was more like:
4+me vs 3+2 or 5 all the evening

You get used to it. I soloq a majority of the time and I face premades probably more than I should. However, Anet said they’re not going to bring back soloq so it’s whatever. Sometimes it’s decent, then other times, I get thrown against the same premades four games in a row.

It wasn’t like that before patch.

I don’t like to spend my time on a PvP that it’s “decent” just “sometimes” xD

Premade does not mean good, it does not mean voice comms, and I see some serious exaggerations on facing premades and even on what people assume their skill level is….. what makes anyone think they would do any better against a bunch of solos of similiar skill level as the people on the premade team?

The matchmaking isn’t that bad…. I’m going to guess it’s keeping you at about 50% which means working as intended even if you get the occasional game where you stomp or get stomped.

a whole bunch of things

1) watching some of the eu top players talking, there are tons of people teaming together. Everyone in NA needs to wake up and actually try to team with other people if they want to win.

2) playing against pre-mades doesnt make them good. When im in pre-mades were never on team speak together. We just like running around together cause if we lose no one gets mad and no matter what we can talk about the match.

3) Icaruk, your 11-14. Whats the problem with the match making? Your winning almost 50% in solo queing. Im not sure what more you could want as a colo que- uer when your playing ranked.

Seriously everyone needs to look in the mirror a bit, if you dont want to play in competitive games you need to go to hot join. If you want to solo que you need to realize you will face pre-mades. Also not all pre-mades are good, reality check.

I’ve experienced a related but different problem with premades in the last few days. As a solo unranked player, I am often stuck as the 5th member of a premade of 4, or a premade of 2 and 2. And lately, the 4’s or 2’s bring a completely inexperienced friend who ends up with close to zero points and zero contribution, making it more of a 4v5 or 3v5 match. The matches end 500-200 or thereabouts, with the premades being the big losers.

My favourite matches are when everyone on both sides are solo. The likelihood of it being fair and fun just seems so much higher.

- Proper composition (point holders + roamers)
- Minimum coordination
- Experiance of playing together
- Optional Voice Com

And since you often win more or less due to such stuff than personal skill anything bigger than duo never should be matched against solo player.

No it doesn’t often mean those things lol your assuming too much, your blaming losses on premades and you feel as though your wins are skill. Soloq is dead get over it or do something about it other than voicing your displeasure (the mods don’t like when I call people whiners) on the forums =)

Also if their being a premade actually made them better they would end up with higher MMRs and you wouldn’t fight them as much. So if you are fighting premades they are probably low skilled premades
