I got that the matchmaking was not thought out well to begin season one. I agree it needed to be changed. Honestly though changing it mid season was horrible! Now trying to go up ranks is worse then before. Playing in ruby with a bunch of people that should have never made it out of sapphire and are now considered ruby players is just not right. Plus this does nothing to those that abused the system to begin with by double pipping wins with good players playing with friends on alt accounts. I believe it was a good idea to change the matchmaking but like the balance patch they should have waited till season 2 to make it! Am I wrong?

No, you’re right. There are a few dozen post about how the last patch’s (Fri. 15th) change to Match Making destroyed progress.

Have to disagree. Saw this change block more people from trying to game the system by grouping with people of lower divisions to lower their group average. The grouping logic needed to go in place as soon as it was ID’d. What this did leave us with is people in divisions higher than they really would have been able to get to on their own, thereby punishing future teams.

No no, that was the patch before the last patch. That was a good patch. The last patch didn’t include anything about PvP in the release notes. It was a hidden change.
