Seriously how hard is it not to match a pug team against a premade. It is ridiculous that a game 3 years after release still can’t figure out a way to do that. What’s the point of even doing leagues if you can’t figure out how to have balanced matches?

Yeah I’m tired of this kitten. It’s ridiculous. I want to know my MRR…

I think it’s mostly because Ranked queues are disabled, even assuming that the MMR was working…average types are gonna get tossed together with more serious minded and seasoned players.

I just wish we had a separate MMR for each profession. I hate that if I want to try something new, I know that I’ll get absolutely kitten on because I’ll be versing players well above my skill level.

why would anet fix a system that is just about to be phased out? they wouldn’t, so save your complaing for leagues.

i think because there are more solo queuers than team queuers.

i noticed that, if i queue with my guild team of 4 or 5 people, the queue time is extremely long, at least 2 – 3 minutes and above per queue.

however, if i queue my guild team with just 3 people, me plus another two guild members, the queue is often very fast. within a minute usually.

and i noticed, if we queue as a 3 man party guild team, the other team are usually full pugs.

i.e. if we go 3 + 1 + 1
the other team usually 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 or 2 + 1 + 1 + 1

eh, I only play in premades so idgaf about random arenas. playing a team game solo is just stupid and robs you of so much of the experience.

Today, I pointed out to an ele that he doesn’t need to +1 two reapers on close. Later, he whispered me that he tries his best and that he’s never done pvp before.

well, for myself, at the moment, i also only play in unranked if my guild team members are online.

if alone, i just go troll in the official anet hotjoin servers.
no queue time, more action.

and yes, even with queuing as a 3 man guild team with 2 other random pugs is a much better experience than going it alone.

for example, yesterday night, by checking the guild rooster’s guild member
s location, one of my casual pvp guild’s guild member – wolf (relatively new to pvp, needs more pvp conquest experience), was pvp-ing, i saw another member – loyat (not new to pvp, lots of pvp conquest experience) pvping as well.

however, both of them are in different pvp maps. not duo queuing together. both of them are solo queuing it seems, after i talked to them both.

so i messaged both of them. wolf complained about having not so good team mates, when i asked him why he not pvp-ing together with loayt, said he dunno loyat was pvp-ing as well. then i asked loyat, loyat said he dunno wolf pvps as well.

then i asked both of them, why not the 3 of us queue together as a 3 man guild team? and so we did. we had a few games, wolf and myself (even after 3 years, i’m still not very good with rotations actually) learned a thing or two from loyat, then our 3 man guild team became 5 man for one game and then 4 man guild team for the next few games as another member – kumang and his friend chris came to join us.

as it was weekends, more better players are in the queue, hence, we got more harder fights than normally during mon – fri weekdays.

overall, it was a good night with some quality pvp matches.

I don’t think it’s stupid. Solo queue used to be a really fun experience for myself and a lot of players. You may not enjoy playing without a set team but there’s a lot of people who do.
