This has happened not one or two time, but many time now. I queued up as solo player, but for some reason the matchmaking put me up against full team players with communication. It’s unfair, and I think anet should look into it. Thanks!

It has been like that for year, I don’t think anet care about solo players

I beat teams with three warriors (at least one of them was very good though I keep getting stuck anyway and did some psychology things to keep me the healer pivoting between lord and home since lord means they win) and a couple days ago three eles. You just have to put your mind to it.

Some close wins I had a disconnect and most of the losses were either due to trolls or others disconnecting.

Don’t be sad, the wings are ugly anyways they sell better looking back pieces in the gem store. I gave up on leagues at the beginning of season 2 even tho I’ve been playing ranked for 3 years, and it actually made me feel more peaceful and free like a heavy load was lifted off my shoulders. Just play unranked if you feel like playing pvp, its more fun & you don’t have to play lame boring meta builds, and save gold and buy a gem store wings ( I have 5 gem store wings and bunch of other in game back pieces that looks WAY better than those legendary wings imo, unless you love huge gigantic weird looking things swallowing you up and getting in the way and covering your cool lookin weapons) Being stressed out over a game isn’t worth it.

this game have heavy healing staff that mean this is a team fight game. teamwork > skill .
but teamwork is a toxic for player base.

In order to get out of cursed Emerald rank i had to play 94 matches. I’m expecting to atleast reach Ruby by the end of the season =/

1. This is reportedly the most balanced season ever. Everything is viable except DH. I lost you after this.

2. MM system is rough, but about right in my mind. I am finding it fine. My fights are actually a challenge now, not a steamroll.

Interesting how the same 5 or 10 people just chime in to every complaint thread each season. Why do you guys continue playing this game?

Last season i soloed to diamond, this season i gave up after 2 hours playing my now broken revenant.

Works fine for me and my zerker warrior. (played premade teams too)

Last season, I purely soloQ’d and had a 30 game win streak straight to Ruby, then I started getting decent opponents that I couldn’t completely stomp anymore.

This season I’m playing significantly better then last season, due to Thief being more viable, and carrying better and consistently do the most on my team. However, I’m on a 15 loss streak stuck in Emerald.

I keep getting the worst teams that straight up ignore my team chat every game and immediately spawn in trying to 1v3 mid. I’m not even exaggerating, this keeps happening every game. I don’t know what they did to the matchmaking but it’s toxic for SoloQ players right now.

edit: issue solved, went first time mes in ranked and got a massive win streak. Thieves just suck.

Ive been playing 14 yrs in pvp, daily. Its not about the stupid wings or rewards or legendary. Its about who ur teammates are and who they will always be once ur mmr gets tanked for any reason, including, and yes its possible!, because of ur teammates and not u. Once ur mmr is tanked, u will be pit w/ noobs, newbies, manipulators and the dregs of the player base. GL getting out of that morass w/ any of the matchup systems anet has devised.

Does anet have any idea whatsoever how demoralizing it is for solo q players w/ low mmr (for w/e reason – yes including, but certainly not exclusively because of, solely the fault of their teammates) to be matched up w/ the same clueless players w./ bad losing streaks against teams on ts w/ high mmr and win streaks.

I think every anet employee should be required to play 12 hrs a day in pvp w/ low mmr in solo q for a full season. Let them c what ppl r really experiencing and complaining about.

O, and I know, so pls don’t say it. Get good. I know.

O, and ur rt. After 14 yrs of playing gw pvp ea day, I won’t be stressed out. I’m just gonna quit.

Anet doesn’t care. It’s been this way since they delete the separate SoloQ matchmaking.

Once you play a bit more you’re going to realize that even the most amazing match making algorithm in the universe can’t create good matchups when working with a population that would comfortably fit in a shoe box.

Sounds like GW2 is not for you since ANet has the system catering the pre mades and leave most solo players to be a stepping stone/farmed by the pre mades. I figured by now poeple would understand how much of a joke the competitive non ESL ranked matches are in this game, and either come to terms with such or move on to actual competitive PvP battle arena games, Smite and Paragon comes to mind.

Just saying that I’m surprised that people are letting them selves get worked up still over the blatant neglect and backlash ANet has for it’s Solo Que’ers. It’s obvious this is what ANet had in mind from the get go. Either team up or more then likely deal with the crapfest of being farmed.

It’s really not hard to grasp, you either have to be dumb, blind, or just in utter denial to not see it for what it is.

Exactly. All my team walked in mid to 4 layers of kittening dh traps.

Lol I just went on a 53 kills and 3 death escapade in ESO with my guild group of 5 players and empress against about a zerg of 30 plus EP crappers. And held off the EP zerg while they had open field siege on us. Lol having a blast atm, but I do feel sorry for you that you refuse to release your self from such torment.

It looks like a mostly meta power meta build with the exception of one utility. Hardly an indicative that he’s going to be terrible and cost the game.

I mean kitten, I’ve been playing my ele as fresh air, and I’ve been doing ok. It’s not meta, but i’m advancing.

We need to do something about class stacking. Had a match with three DH. I was even being polite asking for a switch and not threaten to AFK because of it. They were doing alright for the most part but were just too limited by their comps.

There are 8,001 possible 5v5 matchups and twice this season I had two matches with three DH’s on my team. It wasn’t a match we should have lost but we just didn’t have the resources to sustain and I spent so much of the match low on health and energy just waiting to recover.

You are correct, it’s basically the META power burst build but with a few tweaks, I do enjoy using Bola>100b.
