Mind you at the time of these matches I’m a low plat scrub with 1672 rating…

Not crazy off hours weirdness, 11pm PCT roughly, insta Q pop both times, to makes this even more fun these matches were back to back:
- 1st match against Toker & Kat… #37 & #66 on the lead board (ignoring the fact that Toker & Kat are actually rank #1&2 and this is an alt as that’s another issue LOL)
- 2nd match against Naru & Amon (rank #22 & #24) and some other Necro from EzPz (dunno who he is but most likely …)

Rating screenshots were taken prior to end of match so they are accurate.

I am not going for world champ or god of PVP, usually not the one to blame matchmaking when I lose nor do I complain when I lose and the match was fun, is asking for some fun competitive matches at your own ranking too much?

I really dont understand what people expect when they see the ~5:1 or ~10:1 win ratios of the top players. Those kinds of stats are completely impossible in a balanced system. Somebody is getting farmed and its definetly not the top players fighting each other in nailbiting even matches where they trade wins.

So you have the lucky privilege of being high enough rank to be farmed. Enjoy.

Its just bringing it to the attention of Anet.

I mean in the old leader board a really good player had a 65% win rate. Like that was crazy good, now every ESL player and his hamster is rocking a 80%+ win rate.

I feel for this individual since im in the same point.

I want to have the plat rating so i dont want to get 2-3-4 matches in a row i cant win and lose 60 rating points which has happened this season.

I personally dont find playing them since i feel i can at least play a role against them but when Anet ties a rating/division to your name and a wonkey system. There is gonna be some frustration.

not only platinums are getting farmed, this missadjustement snowballs through ranks, paltinums are getitng farmed by esl level players, golds are getting farmed by the platinums farmed by esl level players, golds are getting farmed by….

Yeah this system sucks for people in the 1650-1750 MMR range on NA. You either get farmed by top players and lose 10-15 (why?) or you have to farm gold ranks to move up with piddly 7-11 gains and 20 losses if you get unlucky/mess up.

There should be a hard limit on MMR differentials, everyone in the game should be within 200 MMR limit maximum this also forces people who want to climb to fight each other at the top instead of q dodging and only playing one game every 3 days.

Yeah. The system was changed after S1 to stack teams and hasn’t been fixed since. Just look at the top of the leaderboard.

Everyone should be around 50%. They are not, because the matches are stacked.

Yep when I was just out of ranked 250 I constantly got put against Naru and whoever was duoing with him, while I get a staff burn guardian on my team. Was previously top 80 for a while then started getting these kitten matches. Now I’m middle of T1 plat.

It is insanely suspicious how some people’s win rates are so high. Totally right that in the old leaderboard system, even 60% meant you were really good. Whatever, this “esport” probably only has a pool of like 2k players so who really cares.

Most of the top players have alts, they throw games for each other. It’s been going on for quite a while.
