We all know it’s broken.
You daily findy ourself in matches with 4 Shoutbow and 1 DD ele, full premade vs ull pugs, 5 turret engi vs 5 thieves. People ragequit without consequences. It is too annoying to be in such a wonderful game. It’s a problem that needs to be adresses.

  • The meta is really fix, a computer could easily recognize builds and sort them in an intelligent way. (Shoutbow and Killshots warrior are two different things, you can’t calculate them as the same thing. Same for Fresh Air or DD ele)
  • How can you still put premades against randoms. Also you can’t think that two small premades equal a big premade. There is a huge gap because of the lack of communication between the two separate groups
  • Anet stated they were going to be serious on toxic pvp behavior. People ragequitting is still a common thing.

Please change something. At least explain why this current situation is so bad.

All I can suggest to you is to learn several builds on your main and at least one specific build on alt professions:

-My team is fully zerker ( thief, thief, mesmer, Lb ranger ), I’ll go bunker guardian or ele staff-d/d

-My team full bunker vs full bunker team ( 4 shoutbow and d/d ele as you sau), then I’ll go fresh air, or rifle engi ( cele or soldier) or LB ranger ( vamp rune-6/6/0/2/0).

-Enemy team got double thief or double mesmer, I’ll go rabid s/p engi double kit/elixir S + vamp runes (lmao the way they melt is hilarious – magnet pull-barrage)

All in all, there is little you can do..but make sure you that little counts :B
Situation is pretty bad I agree, but nothing will change anytime soon it seems, they’re taking data apparently, we can only hope for the best and make the most of what we have now, I made peace with myself about this ^^

Agree with the RQ part.

I don’t think it is that important to figure out builds. In solo queue if a good player is on fresh air vs. DD they should be able to figure out their roles and perform them well. Sadly, a lot of burst players don’t really get their roles. Like thieves who get farmed in mid by staying in team fights for far too long.

I think the important part is volume of burst builds vs. more balanced builds on teams. It’s frustrating getting stuck with 4 burst builds on my cele engie since cele engie itself isn’t the best point holder.
