How did map points not get an indicator bar for capture? One of the most requested things by casters, something that is vital to see to really get a sense of how a game could turn, and it gets ignored.

Which crazy idiot thought changing the glue bomb on engi would be a great idea? A full 4 second aoe immobilize? I mean you just have to look at teldo to see the capability of this class and you should know that bomb kit was the last which needed a buff. Engenieers were already pretty good in 1vs1 – Not best but still viable due to their crazy elite.
Please spend your resources on real problems – like warrior and necro traits and not on that kittening kitten.

Shortbow is a must have for every thief that needs mobility, A-net has stated they want to increase thieves mobility with other weapons so that thieves can actually have another weapon set to swamp to instead of the usual “main” weapon set + SB for mobility.
So that being said, A-net has just removed allot of our mobility in sPvP by nullifying some of our shadowstep locations. it is most noticeable on SW but in other maps as well.
So instead of giving us mobility like they said they would they are actually REMOVING it from us and not even mentioning it in the notes to avoid flaming.

Lol at all the observer notes while still plagued with broken matchmaking, 5v4 matches and no solo queue. As usual their priorities are backwards. Games become popular due to huge casual population not because the same 10 teams play a tournament once a week.
volrath i don’t think you’ll find many non-thief players here that are kitten by nerfs to thief mobility.

The patch notes indicate that glue bomb has been fixed to now have the correct radius when using the “increased radius” trait. As far as I know, the immobilize is still 1 second.
But yeah, all those 1v1-specced bomb engineers out there are probably laughing because of the blatantly OP bugfix. /sarcasm

NEW FEATURES AND CONTENT
World vs. World
•Obsidian Sanctum, the jumping puzzle in the Eternal Battlegrounds, has been moved to its own WvW map. •Entering the puzzle will take players out of the Eternal Battlegrounds.
•Leaving will take players back to Lion’s Arch.
•Added a new vendor: “Traps and Tricks Outfitter.”
•Traps have been added as a new purchasable consumable utility item. Two unique variants are available. •When placed, traps last for one hour.
•Players may only have one of a given trap type deployed at a time.
•Traps will disappear when a player leaves the map.
•Traps are sold by the vendor for 15 badges and 525 karma; they will stack to 250 and are account-bound.
•It takes a 4-second channel to place at feet.
•Placing a trap uses very short-range ground targeting to assist in orientation.
•Placed traps have a 600×90 rectangular trigger area; only enemies can trigger them.
•Once triggered, traps affect up to 20 enemies within a range of 1200.
•Traps cost 10 supply to place.
•Supply Removal Trap •Removes 5 supply from enemies affected by the trap.
•Stealth Disruptor Trap •Removes stealth from enemies and reveals them for 30 seconds, preventing stealth.
Structured PvP
•Reverted a change to PvP dailies that increased their difficulty.
•Reworded some custom arena tooltips to be less confusing.
Take a look at the difference between PvP and WvW.
1. The WvW team is clearly motivated and the PvP developer team isn’t
2. The WvW clearly offers great rewards for playing WvW now (precursors and ascended gear are obtained now) and PvP isn’t.
3. The WvW developer team doesn’t take a vacation when they introduce things, the PvP developer team goes on vacation (hence why 2 things for PvP may 14th, WvW gets a ton of things, and TONS MORE may 28th, THEY ARE CLEARLY MOTIVATED)
I remember awhile back when I posted about may 14th patch not getting kitten, someone replied, because the big PvP patch is coming out later…. This aint no big PvP patch, WvW has more stuff added, I’m more motivated to play WvW now because I get rewarded for my time, they continue to improve and make WvW more enjoyable.
Why should I play pvp when simple mechanics (solo que, not get points towards my title with the tournament rewards) and leaderboards are broken.
THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE I SEE IS PvP is too busy fixing there content, undoing there content (pvp dailies)…. While WvW is too busy ADDING new content.
Oh and last time I checked, WvW is bigger, more prone to bugs… But look whose too busy fixing there content, it sure aint the WvW team. WvW PUT AN END TO CULLING, whats PvP team done that’s so significant? Even the PvE team is behind the curves with the WvW team because PvE culling is still broken. You have 20 monsters you cannot see due to culling which is some bullkitten because you don’t get any loot since you cannot see them.

They been saying the “next patch” will be pvp patch for months now. I think we already passed it. Was the one where they removed paid tournies. See? Never say Anet never did anything for pvpers.

Tested it myself and got at least 4 sec immobilize. Aoe on a 25sec Cd instant cast. Great Job Arenanet Great Job. Maybe thats the big change for making warrior viable in tpvp because now they are maybe able to hit their burst…They did not say, that they fix Warrior traits.

I should probably take a break from GW2 at this point, like maybe a 2 year break? I honestly don’t even know what they’re doing at this point.
GW1 is still the better game. Sure, the movement isn’t as smooth and natural as GW2 and it was instanced, but if you copy and pasted GW1 mechanics but fixed those two issues we would literally have a better game than GW2.

I just got a chance to test it and the immobilize does pulse three times for a second each now. The cast time has not been changed (tooltip 1/2 second, actual cast time about 3/4 second, plus bomb delay of about 3/4 second). The radius increase trait does work now.
Start puls+3 pulses+ additional puls for 1 sec (due to Lyssa runes) – Tested it with my team…you can root them for a complete chunning earth. The bomb explodes immediately (at least people get rooted immediately). Whatever you tested is wrong.
With bomb traits you can cover a whole node + Just 20 sec CD on glue bomb.
