Since the core game is becoming f2p, leagues coming up and rank 20 required for ranked games, i think anet should implement a mentor-system to guide new players into higher tier pvp.
Veteran players should be able to become a mentor and new players could choose a mentor over the lfg tool (or sth like that). It should also be possible to rate a mentor so it wont be a trollfest.
To make this work we need a spectator mode so the mentor can watch over his “student” (and only his student pov) in normal games.
Also there should be some sort of reward for mentors like a title based of the rating.

Yup, like Asian MMO’s are doing mostly.

Mentor and Student, both getting rewards for reaching a certain milestone.

This would be nice

I think I’d be an amazing mentor. I like yelling and making students wish they were never born. That’s the best form of discipline.
