Mesmer Moa Morph
dodge? you can still dodge, you know.
This spell is my bane! If I get moa’ed I usually kick my cat and wait for respawn
It can’t be countered unless you aren’t in a Zerg and see the spell coming then you can dodge, otherwise it’s “GG”. That being said do others have something to remove it? That Im unsure about.
I agree. It’s overpowered in its current form.
It really sucks for elementalist where your defensive abilities such as increased toughness are tied to an attunement and you can’t swap attunements while a moa either, so there you sit, a defenseless meatsack with the lowest defense/hp of any class and no down state interupt, free kill/gg, every time.
An ability with a 4 minute cool down…
So lemme guess this one skill is your bane?
The only reason you lose is because of it?
You’re so good your winning the 15 other 1v1 matches against mesmers but the one encounter that Moa is up you lose so this skill is OP and needs to be nerfed?
You can’t recognize an ability with a long channel, the only ability a mesmer needs to be completely stationary for, and you don’t know how to dodge or run behind a rock/tree/ledge?
/smh
You’re bad and Moa Morph isn’t the reason you’re losing
It’s easy to cover up your moa cast animation. So dodging, unless you’re some kind of psychic, is not really an option.
Mesmers are just a broken 1v1 class at the moment. They’ll probably get toned down and all the ‘skilled’ Mesmer’s will rage.
And you’ll find something else to cry about. Just saying, if you’re going to attribute your losses to a skill with a 4 minute cool down this might not be the game for you…

Getting mighty defensive there. But on that note, I’ll take a similar skill with a 4min cooldown over -ANY- ultimate elementalists currently have.
You’re wildly exaggerating what has been said here, no one said that skill is the only reason they lose, but when it is off CD, it’s WAY too effective. Shorter duration, shorter cooldown would be a great compromise imo.

HAHAHAHA. Give a mesmer the water elemental ultimate. Then have fun.
You can dodge and use los until a teammate joins you. Then you stomp him for 4 min until skill is back up. That said I pretty much allways loose to mesmers but not because of moa.
Moa should last half as long and have its cooldown cut in half. Problem solved.
not enough mesmers realize how incredibly powerful the group stealth elite is yet. you’ll see less moa mesmers as they figure out what the bigger game changer is.
yep. group stealth is by far the best one because it helps you rally/stomp, it can be used every team fight, and it syncs well with lyssa runes.
unfortunately all 3 of these points are 5v5 relevant, and i do believe this is a 8v8 topic
I like to Moa Morph people I have just downed before I finish them.

I agree, I think it’s overpowered. It’s basically a easy win for the mesmer. You could fight back, but the mesmer can easily kite. You could dodge, but that’s twice or three times. You’re basically a “hit me” target for 10 seconds.
Moa shouldn’t override elite’s. Lich form → Moa is so ridiculous. As is guardian tome → Moa.
Moa is a bad skill because if they aren’t slotting time warp the Mesmer is BAAADDDD and you should beat them anyway.
You can dodge roll the cast, but I do agree…it’s a bit much at this point. Maybe 5 second duration?

Moa is mostly just a 1v1 or even 2v2 crutch, a type of fight the Mesmer already excels at. On the other hand, both the mass invis and the mass quickness can turn a team battle around in a few seconds.
When I play my Mesmer, I oftens switch between Moa and one of the others depending on the fight to come.
Nerf it to 5secs, or give the reciever a health buff, to make it a disable rather then a kitten instant win skill

Not sure if you’re quoting me, but since I said its my bane I’ll assume so. But I was just saying I hate getting moa’ed! Nothing more. You kinda took me outta context there. I also am not good enough to watch everyone in the Zerg to see what their casting I guess. I guess I should’ve said this ability kicks my norn butt cause well, it does. Not saying I’m god mode or anything like that. It’s a cool ability, unfortunately me being the big meat shield in the crowd i tend to get it more then I’d like. But no the little Mesmer isn’t easy to spot as you make it sound and rarely is it ever in a 1v1 situation.
