Guild Wars 2

1) On Creation: If the Mesmer is blinded, or the target Aegis/Invulnerable/Evades then the Phantasm fails to form.
2) On Phantasm attack: If the Phantasm is blinded, or the target has Aegis/Invulnerable/Evades.
3) By Phantasm Dispersal: AoE damage from either skills, or Arrow Carts can destroy Phantasms before they even appear if they spawn in their effects. Retaliation also helps in destroying them.

That discounting fickle Line of Sight that plagues the Mesmer.

I’m honestly curious if any other attack type has to deal with multiple avenues of failure the Mesmer Phantasm has to deal with.

On Creation blocking/blinding/invulnerable/evade alone is similar to any multi-attack/AoE/Channel completely failing to work when blinded or hits a blocking/invulnerable/evading target, rather then just missing on the first attack/s.
