Mesmer bugs?
If they were channeling a projectile skill right before you stealthed (say ranger’s longbow 2 or the mesmer duelist) it can still track you and hit you.
As for the clones, they might just be quick with finding you again.

no that isn’t the case as my friend said himself he puts a target on me and whenever i clone myself it stays and unless hammer has a moving target channel for a warrior yeah no
