Mesmer discrimination
so play another class ?
I mean, just cause i mainly play ele doesnt stop me from kitten ing around on a theif/mesmer should i really feel i need to get that daily.

Mesmer is not being discriminated lol, as Tex said, if you want the daily, log on to the class that has the daily up. If you really like mesmer, not having the daily won’t stop you from playing it. You don’t have to play say warrior the entire day to get the daily, rather you can go into a rank farm server and get on the team that is set to win, then after you get the daily, switch back to your beloved mesmer.

What if someone does not have a particular profession? has specifically to do a new character for prizes? ……..

It is a bias, necromancer is equally discriminated against, there’s many threads about this. Dailies should be rotated across professions equally.
Unfortunately most responses above don’t know any better.

Stop worrying about dailies. If you want loot go play pve.

It IS the case. While other classes get to have a daily almost every other day, Mesmer and Necro only have a daily 2-3 times a month or so.

Well, it would be nice to be able to finish a daily every once in a while without switching to another profession or needing to go into WvW or PvE for the third one. But if your main is a Mesmer or Necro, you’ll almost never have that happen; while it happens almost all the time for some of the other classes, and quite frequently for the other ones.
Tbf, a bad Mesmer on your team is beyond horrible. Less bad players trying to play thief/mes in ranked for the first time isn’t exactly a bad thing.

The complaint is about dailies. There’s literally 11 other options for them. There’s no requisite that say you need to do 3 PvP exclusive dailies.
They should go do any of the other dailies or simply swap professions as this really is a non-issue.
I don’t understand why Mesmer daily is never up, but I’m not exactly complaining. I’m a Mesmer main, and it’s bad enough when my team has two good Mesmers. I’d definitely not want bad Mesmers on my team as it means a total loss.
Still, it seems like it’s always the engi or ele daily. What’s the deal there?!
