This is the first time in awhile where I have seen the majority of classes be in the meta, and DH while not competitive, isn’t horrible like let’s say, pre patch warrior/berserker.

There’s still the topic of diversity that needs to be addressed, but the fact that all of the classes except one are getting played is a good site to see.

Yes, it’s a good thing that most professions are in meta, but without diversity, it really means that only 8 specs are meta, and neither of them are actually balanced because of the increasing powercreep each patch. If they don’t nerf those specs to bring them in line with other, weaker specs, diversity will be mostly minimal.

In my opinion, increased diversity will be a sign of better balance.

I agree with this, I’m still waiting on diversity, I just think it’s a good start that almost all the classes are at least getting played. I’d rather have that than thief, warrior, etc. being completely useless like before.

Uff… Metabattle is the source of so much toxicity. When people in lower divs start yelling about metas I almost facepalm myself to death. It’s relevant, sure, IF you’re playing at a level where meta actually matters and things like team composition and enemy composition factor in to that. For casuals in solo queue it means nothing.

Hint: Overpowered builds have nothing to do with meta, they’re just overpowered builds. FotM as we call it. And boy is the game full of those who feel that their easy to play builds give them the right to pass judgement upon everyone that is playing well with “non-meta” builds.

Far from most diverse ever. I would argue that its not particularly optimal to run Ranger, Guardian, or Thief regardless of what meta battle says.

you either have no idea how good druids are or you’re a really really terrible ranger/druid.
