Mix the classes please
The code they would have to write is way 2 hard.
+Q times would be 10 hours or more since 99% only plays warrior and sometimes ranger/necro
And its not even profitable for them in the 1st place. Just use the lfg no1 uses and teamQ
He mean class-mixing on the stage where 10 people were already signed into one tournament, i guess. This won’t change queue time but we will not see something like 4 warriors in one team and 4 thieves in another, it will be 2 warriors and 2 thieves in each team.
Almost nothing in this game will ever be fixed.
Anet fix things only if it might increase gemstore sales.
10 people are put into teams based on MMR. It would break that code and is 2 hard for them 2 write.
They would have done it day 1 if they cared/wanted it. They have thought of it already and dont want 2.
the only fix I can see, is to allow a max of 2 classes of the same type per team in soloQ and TeamQ.
but they’re a lot stronger
than they will be next year!
Or not? If people want to use 5 warriors let them. This will only kill build diversity even more.
Gw1 were no different a team could consist of 1 infuse and zb monk, 1 caltrops rit flagrunner, 5 invoke spikers.
If you cant win in pvp with this system team build random builds and mixed all over wont make any difference.
if gw2 would be a very well balanced game I would agree with you, but since there are FOTM classes every time a “balance” patch comes out, you won’t ever see build diversity but all running the same FOTM builds for 2 months till the next big “balance” patch
but they’re a lot stronger

Exactly,
I assume a game doesn’t begin until 10 people have queued.
Then these players are assigned a team at random.
So instead ob being completely random, make sure the classes are somewhat equally distributed.
If there are other things factored into solo-queue, like MMR, Rank or Win % then that’s another issue.
I assume a game doesn’t begin until 10 people have queued.
Then these players are assigned a team at random.
This isn’t actually how it works. It’s one of the broken parts of solo queue currently. It finds teams of similarly ranked people, then matches them against each other. That’s why you’ll find a team of people around rank 100 against a team of people around rank 800.
Competitive Warrior, Ele, Mesmer, Ranger, Engineer, Thief
My experience has been unless the party is in voice comms and their builds are meticulously crafted to complement each other’s when you get 3-4 of a single profession you lose the game.
