It wouldn’t solve any real problems, but why not?

It might incentivize people to specialize more in one class which would facilitate more competitive game play. Who knowwsssss.

I want to see “Legendary ________” for wins while in the top ~500 or so of leaderboards, probably just team arena. Champ means nothing but that you have played a lot.

I like that a lot ! I see so many high ranks / avengers, ransackers etc. that are still horribly bad… that kind of title would mean something without requiring to win season tournaments.

Seems pretty weird that you have to play over 20k tourneys to get to rank 80 but champion titles stop at 150. I’d like to be a Legendary Legionnaire, Paragon, Magus or Shadow :P

This would be really nice. A lot of people who main a class have WELL over 150 games won in queues.

Win 100 tournament games as a Decap Engineer

Give titles for hard achievements, not just for playing hundreds or thousands of hours.

I agree that a title track in the spirit of gw1 champ titles would be nice (i.e. create a rating prerequiste for a win-based title), but the leaderboard variance would have to be changed!

Now on this topic I’d say it’s still just a wish. For a title based on high ranked games you need to actually have a decent and working rating system which GW2 lacks. I think it would be best if they first introduced a decent rating system with those leagues they talked about and THEN they should introduce titles based on it.
