If they are keeping the same system, before I join a match as a random I want the following information.
1) What is my MMR
2) How many “new” players are in my division and what is their MMR
3) What is the average MMR of the player pool I’m playing against

I want to know 1 & 2 so I can kitten the quality of the team I’m going to get, and 3 so I know what I’ll be facing. As it stands right now if the matchmaking thinks you have bad MMR there is absolutely no point in joining. The odds are so stacked against you, it is nearly impossible to get significant win streaks.

In an underhanded way they took away solo queue for average players.

I’m pretty sure the notes from the developers on how the match making system works are a better source than someone complaining about losing matches as a warrior.

When authors and experimental evidence disagree, I rely on the experimental evidence. That’s what’s great about the scientific method. Also me being mad about losing has no bearing on veracity of my claim. You’re committing ad hominem fallacy.

It is working exactly the way anyone with foresight would have predicted. If the system thinks you are bad you get bad team mates. Then you have to fight other people in your division. If you are on the bad end of the spectrum you will have more fights against good teams. If you are on the really bad end you might as well quit because you will get the worst team mates available and will always be fighting teams with better opponents.

If you are one of the people on a major losing streak 20+ you probably should quit ranked until they either reset MMR or they change the system.
