Hi there!
I started a month ago in GW2 with an Elementalist, and I’ve spent last week playing pvp, so I was wondering if there is any reward track that you consider better for an ele.
I am thinking of course on PvE uses since stats from gear don’t count on pvp.

Do you have HoT? Any of the HotT map ones are good because they can contribute towards an ascended trinket. The dungeon tracks are kinda lack lustre

I do have HoT. I read that Maguma is the most profitable but I am thinking in having better gear for the moment.

Gear doesn’t really with like that in this game. There are popular gear stat combinations that works on a number of classes, and it’s in your best interest to obtain gear that can either be used across several characters or are consistently valid for end game. Anything before level 80 is transient salvage trash, and you shouldn’t spend time accumulating it.

In PvP gear does not contribute to your stats, only the amulet and rune set you pick in the PvP UI does.

A. For Open World roaming, I’d suggest a full exotic carrion set.
B. For healing in fractals, I’d suggest a full ascended zealot set.
C. For raiding, I’d suggest a full ascended berserker set. Ele doesn’t usually heal in raids.

Thanks guys, I am a little far from crafting ascended and since I am kind of only doing PvP now, just wanted to know if there was a better reward track for later PvE. Thanks again for the info I will consider it!!
