Guild Wars 2

Really, is there any reason for us to be in the dull and depressing PvP lobby in the mists? I don’t see why all the PvP spec, gearing and items can’t be just moved to the hero panel like everything else, and it just activates upon entering a pvp game. Moving us to Lion’s Arch would make the city feel less empty, both population wise and space wise. There’s a lot of “fluff” space in Lion’s Arch that isn’t really used for anything. I wish they’d move us there. Before it was destroyed, I always kinda wished they’d have moved us to the sewers, to give it an “illegal fighting” kind of feel.

Thoughts?

i have an idea, just let us play the game…instead of forcing us to sit any particular place. i personally miss farming pveland while queueg matches….why did anet stop it in the first place?

Yeah, of course. My suggestion would allow for that as we would not be forced into a specific instance. I was thinking about that just for a more general area to gather the community if they so desire along with merchants, leaderboards, arena vendors etc

well for a long time we could just play the game and pvp…they changed it for some reason. i know not why, but it is kinda lame. i play less now tbh because i dont like idle gaming time…let me go do a jumper with my pvx guild while sitting around in queue for 5 min….i dont want 5 sec of downtime while gaming tbh…i have to much energy to blow through.

I haven’t played GW2 consistently for three years, but I did play at launch, and I remember having to go to the hotm then, too. When was this time you’re talking about?

No. Instead just let us play the game AGAIN while waiting for a queue, like we used to before the first feature patch. Also let us hotjoin while waiting.

this is dumb. LA has no training dummies, and doesn’t use pvp stats so you can’t test builds. why the hell would i want to be there instead of HotM where i have both on those things.

im not object to a HotM revamp, but it’s really not what pvp needs. we need more maps and gamemodes before a better lobby.

Then won’t you just have people upset in hotjoin when their winning and suddenly a part of their teams que is up and they vanish lol?

Just need a revamp to hotm. Add more things to do while waiting. More profession training npcs would be nice. People always fighting for them in a full map.

A dueling area would be great so we can practice against other players 1v1 rather than dumb npcs.

The last BIG BIG patch before the expac announcement…so idntk…7 or 8 months ago. Before then i could go any where and queue….hotjoin, pveland, even dungeons.

Let us queue from anywhere please, like we used to…

You completely missed the point. The idea is that people should be able to do whatever they want while they queue. In your case, spend your time in HotM for the reasons you mentioned. For others, they may want to do something else.

You completely missed the point. The idea is that people should be able to do whatever they want while they queue. In your case, spend your time in HotM for the reasons you mentioned. For others, they may want to do something else.

the OP said, ‘Moving us to Lion’s Arch’ which implies the removal of HotM and the transfer of the lobby to Lions Arch. he’s free to disagree with my interpretation, but it’s what i got from the post.

nowhere in my post do i object to being able to que from arenas or other maps. so quit your fancies.
