Mesmer, Elementalist, Thief

I’ve played warrior, engineer and necromancer.

Maybe I should have taken the hint.

So im leaning mesmer since thief and ele seem to be one spec wonders..glass cannon and bunker respectively.

Advice?

Use skills, get kills.

Ele has some wiggle room between scepter dagger and d/d.

Necro is good man, why you hatin on condis?

Honestly though Mesmer I guess. If your set on a fotm class which is understandable considering the pace of balance patches… Thief isnt great unless your in hotjoins or your a god of glass like caed.

Id really like to say play whats most fun to you. If you get decent with an up class right now when they get buffed up youll be amazing

From my POV, you have the balls, and your friend does not.

It just so happens I got myself stuck with War, Necro, Engi and Ranger too… Oh well.

At least when you get a kill, you deserved it. Not so much for your friend.

Necro is amazing but its definitely a very hard class to be good at and iv only seen a handfull of necros that are really good at it. But once u go 15-20 ranks playing it and get pro, its super fun.

Mesmer is pretty much one-spec wonder as well. More versatile than the other classes, but the best builds all revolve around shatter. If you go mantras you’ll have a bad time.

then you give the necro a best buddy condiburst engi and they will be BFF.
They will make cureing aids look easy

Necros do well against ele and guardian. Both of those professions usually rely heavily on boons.

Corrupt boon→ epidemic→ whole team dead.
