The only class im struggling against is mesmer and i dont mean every mesmer but the better mesmers in the game are crushing me.

Im currently running a zerk warrior, 2stances,rampage, and hammer with rifle. Im have fights with mesmers where i dont land 1 hit in 1 vs 1 situations.

i have a condi bunker necro use staff and i do replenish DS and even with this build i can beat a majority of the eles in the game. The same mesmers though kill me, i can get a decap and sometimes a slight recap but there is no escape and eventually bursted down.

There are 2 other builds i play regularly in a bunker guardian and staff ele and i do great with them as well but the better mesmers are crushing me with them. Alot of these guys were players i saw before the patch playing mesmers so im happy they can be the top dog atm but to me that is the only problem with the actual pvp atm.

Now please i dont want mesmers drowned with everyones very negative opinions. I dont know what to do personally since i dont play mesmer anymore. So im hoping a small spank in the butt so they can still be top dog with eles but not above them with no real counter.

None of the builds you’ve mentioned are meant to counter decent mesmers, if you want to beat them on warrior your best shot is to get rid of the rifle and run a gs, even then current zerker warriors aren’t the best at 1v1s.

I main mesmer and started playing my ele after the patch for a change. My DD ele does very well vs mesmers. I think the main reason is I have protection and regen to deal with their burst and most mesmers don’t do well dealing with burns. Now it could be that there is class based mmr and my ele is just fighting bad ones all the time

Warrior gets kitten on by mesmer. Game isn’t balanced around 1v1. No mmo is balanced around 1v1

Warrior does very poorly against mesmers. There’s no way to deal with their stealth + range + snares + interrupts + evade. You can’t force the mesmer to engage you in close range and the clones will body block your burst skills/leap skills/attacks since warrior has no teleports.

Try a class with teleports (e.g. medi guardian). It’s way easier to kill the mesmer when you can bypass the clones and apply pressure to the mesmer directly.
