My opinion on the "OP" specs
pretty much this
+1
Well balance is always seen relative to others.
However PvE as a static environment kind of sets the parameters. So yes, you can end up with 8 overpowered professions if you do it wrong.
There are times to buff and there are times to nerf. In general whichever change requires the fewest alterations is the best approach. Otherwise you just end up with a viscous buff-cycle.
If they need to differentiate pvp/pve then thats what they need to do.
I think it’s a matter of the players drinking some coffee and grinding out new builds. Take trap ranger its been there since day 1. People just figured it out.

I said this in another thread, but it rings true here as well. It’s hard to grind out new builds when some utilities are just completely inferior in every way shape and form. I can’t vouch for a lot of other profs, as I pretty much only play one, but turrets/gadgets are for the most part completely useless for Engineers. The only reason to make a gadget build (and believe me, I’ve tried) is simply for the sake of making it to be a precious and unique snowflake. A very ineffective snowflake, but unique none the less
