My thoughts on the Wts
I actually think there’s still a major issue with clarity when spectator. As someone who’s played GW2 since launch, it can be difficult to know exactly what’s going on at all times and this is probably the biggest obstical GW2 faces from becoming a better esport. I can’t even imagine how bewildered a completely new player would find these matches. Very little enjoyment can be obtained when the player can’t discern any information just from watching. In all honesty, even reading player name tags was a chore.
Other than that, and China not really bringing anything to the table, the whole event was pretty awesome.
Personally though i would like to see this expanded to 8 teams. Im from NA but there is clips of like 55hp monks and other Eu teams who can compete at this level.
55hp couldn’t compete as their standard roster due to the age limit if I’m not mistaken, hence why they merged with tcg for wts.

ohh ok thanks, i dont all the people who compete at the elite level for these things so its good to know. I just see these clips on youtube from the last TOL and im confused by why we cant have more teams since there are elite players out there.
I’m almost 20 so age-wise, I am eligible.
Skill-wise, not so much. It’s almost back to school so the next time I’ll have time to play is Thanksgiving and the Holidays.
But it’s fun watching others who are better and more committed to the game than I am. It’s almost as enjoyable as watching E! News. It sucks how sometimes I miss my queue from reading celebrity gossip.
