Guild Wars 2

Preferably Rank 30+ and in Anvil Rock server.

Requirements and standards:

Must be open-minded in topics and probabilities
Must not be afraid to be proven wrong
Must not be afraid to try something out of the ordinary (VERY IMPORTANT)
Must be willing to learn and be a better player
Must be faithful to the theme of the guild which is 5-Warrior’s in tournaments

Roles:

2 Range DPS + Great Sword
2 Point Holders (Now you might say this isn’t possible. But if you want to know why I think its possible, pass the try-outs and get in this guild)
1 Roaming Support and/or Initiator (You may choose to be DPS or Tank in this part)

Try-outs format:

In order to be accepted to this guild, the test is simple. You must be able to kill Chieftain in 11 seconds WITHOUT GETTING HIT OR TOUCHED (Meaning Endure Pain isn’t going to save you from this try-out). You have an unlimited amount of tries until you get it right. You may use whatever weapon you want and depending on whether I like what I see or not, I might take you in because you showed that you actually tried or you showed something new.

Things I can do for you:

1.) I will try to help you find a proper build (Trait, Equipment, Playstyle) for a role that you might want to play.
2.) Willing to work with you on how else can you improve on your role(s) as a Warrior.
3.) I will try to call the shots but I also expect you to evaluate the calls.

Questions that I can see coming:

1.) Why are you doing this?

Mostly for fun. I’m just that bored that I want to try something very impractical to kill time and boredom.

2.) What do you hope to accomplish?

Firstly, I want to give the Warriors who were rejected by guilds a place to be in. My other agenda is to increase my knowledge of “team synchronization” within a class.

3.) You do realize that you are most likely to get shunned for this right?

I don’t really care. If I get flamed I just ignore it. Its not like I’m going to waste time on insults and annoyance directed towards me for making this thread. I’m only going to be reading applications anyways so if I get shunned for this then they wasted time.

I am looking forward to some video footage of that. :-)

I am interested in joining your guild. I meet your rank requirement and I’m in an US server, not Anvil Rock tho, I hope that won’t be a problem.

I’m not actually a warrior, but I am a very brave soldier necromancer. Well, I guess I am a warrior after all.
I can play any of the roles available: I do have range DPS from my staff, it actually does a three-digit damage by each hit, which is quite impressive I think. I can also have a great sword role. Well, I’ll even improve it. Instead of having just one sword, I’ll have an axe and make it stronger by having an focus. 2 weapons are always better than one.
I think I am one of the best point holders in the game. I can stand on the point for the whole match, even if I’m dead. So, you’ll definitely want me to cover that role.
I can combine your last 2 roles into one. I will roam around a lot and initiate the enemies on each shrine. Very innovative I know. I can demonstrate it for you, how good I am at initiating the opposing teams, no matter how many they are on the certain point.

About try-outs:
I think killing the chieftain in 15 seconds is very easy. I can do it without any problem and without taking any damage. I’m willing to take it to even more extreme levels. I can kill it in 15 MINUTES without taking any damage, which I’ll prove to you when you invite me for the try-outs.

Anyone can Bulls charge frenzy endure pain and kill svanir/chief in 15 seconds.

yeah, they should definitely swap in Schwahrheit.4203 instead of chief in that trial.

He said in 15 seconds without taking damage. You won’t kill chieftain with just the endure pain. You would have to equip a ranged weapon in your 2nd weapon set, and whirlwind out of range once hb is done, then ranged fight him to take no damage. Never tested myself if that would be 15 secs or less, since i don’t use rifles in sPvP, but probably would. I don’t know how any of that is related to skill though. Fighting an NPC is always easier than fighting another person.

No skill needed for this and you don’t need a ranged weapon. Trials against live persons would be better indeed.

That combo doesn’t finish the job. although close you still need a few more hits in there.

If you’re implying the try-outs should be based on duels then sorry I won’t agree with that. You can’t base player evaluation on duels alone.

And about the try-outs, if you use a range weapon chances are you won’t even finish in 15 seconds. Its much easier to do it with melee. Maybe I should make it 11 seconds (within Signet of Rage time) WITHOUT GETTING HIT OR TOUCHED instead of 15.. I mean 15 seconds does sound way too much now that I think of it.

Bump. Post what time you will be available if you are interested in joining. The try-outs must be with a Warrior and you must NOT get touched by Chief while being able to down it in 11 seconds.

We already have 5 x warrior team (EU). We play only free tPvP (you cant be serious in paid with 5 warr).
This is SS from round2 and round3 (i forgot to take SS from round1).

But yeah I did say I was mostly looking to increase my knowledge in team synchronization and killing boredom.

Five Thieves are fun (especially BS) when you communicate and pick targets, but you will get wreck in serious PvP though.
