from necro point of view:
1.fear duration – its ok , problem is in nightmare runes , just reverse duration to 1s like it was , fear atm is shorter then before patch becouse most of necros is not going 30 in spite so 30% condi loss
2.DS – idk what u mean , DS OP? For me DS still lack a lot and still need a lot of work.
3.Shumfire – again what? It got nerfed so i have no clue what is your problem with that.
4.SoS – nerf the duration of condis and will be fun.
5.Corupt Boon – this not OP , before when u could convert all boon , yes it was bit to strong but now its ok.

The only thing i can see now its that is a troll post.

Necro:

1. Fear duration is pretty short, even when traited. If a necro manages a lot of fear it’s because you’re running into spectral wall or they corrupted your stability. Otherwise there are only 2 necro specific abilities that apply fear, for 2 seconds tops, if traited. They can get a 3 second fear on a 60 second cooldown for 40 trait points, too.

2. Death shroud starts at 0 for every match, and locks a player out of their utilities, heal and elite. It also has no condition removal. I take it to never played necro?

3. Dhuumfire was nerfed.

4. Corrupt boon was nerfed a year ago.

5. I don’t see necros running signet of spite anymore, and it’s very telegraphed.

I think you’re about 9 months too late with the condi necro QQ. MM necros are another story though.

Oh no! Eles are viable now! Please nerf back to bad, kthnx. Also I don’t even have an ele but I’m fairly sure that its impossible to take most of those traits you’re QQing about.

I can get the engi and warrior complaints but I’m certain any issues with those classes are not centered around these specific things.

I’m not sure what planet people are living on where these Elementalist traits are giving them issues, let alone being a day-to-day problem for them. A player who goes that far into the Earth line has to make real sacrifices for those traits and they’re hardly impossible to answer to.

A full rabid Necromancer made a thread just a few days ago complaining again about Diamond Skin, and he didn’t want to swap his elite (presumably Plague) for the golem because it would “compromise his build”. He’s unwilling to adapt a single utility to help against someone’s grandmaster trait. Does that seem reasonable to you? Because that’s what all the complaints sound like to me.

(I basically dodged the first signet of spite, and I killed two players, then necro came back and just put one signet of spite in my thief, and bam.. instant dead..)
it should be nerf like what happened to lyssa runes, it should put only 5 conditions on enemy(not to mention about the long duration of cripple and chill.. needs nerf)

5. Corrupt Boon
-Needs nerf like lyssa runes, should corrupt only 5 boons

Elementalist
1. Diamond Skin
-Well eles are viable now yes? but the amount of heal and sustain eles produce is kind of high.. and eles are immune to conditions.. poor necros who cant put any condis..

2. Written in stone
-as of now the majority of eles are running this, because they could spam everything in d/d.. and eles dont play anything else now other than d/d… Diversity? oh no.. not on eles.. ele viable now after update? yes.. but needs to be toned down just a little bit, because other classes have no survability like ele has..

3. Stone heart
-This is the most annoying trait ever, because bunker eles… no explanations needed…

4. Signet of restoration
-This signet is the one used by the bunker eles that destroys the game, this signet that gives them immense amount of healing that lets them survive 5v1 atleast for not so long,,, maybe like 20s? like when their teammate arrives with spirit res and revive the bunker ele again? now 2 bunkers in node.. hurray..

as of now, I mostly see eles and they play all same specs (as what I see) , they go on node, out heal everyone..

Warrior
1. Healing signet
-well its still the same.. i dont feel there’s nerf on it.. they still heal more than they should to be honest.

Engineer
1.Inciendery powder (THE BURNING)
-the 10second cooldown is what makes this OP.. and it deals like 3k+ burning or even more, not to mention engineers already have other access to condi and too much healing..
Definitely increase the cooldown to this

2.Inciendery ammo
-This has been tested by me and Polypor before, one inciendery ammo if landed on poor thief without any condi cleanse will drop no matter what.

the burning needs to be toned down.

also I forgot to add about ranger heals and pet dmg..
tone them down a little bit,.

and as far as I see mesmers, they are fine.

As for the necro:

1. Nerf DS attacks while the necro is stunned? Like Necro’s do have stunbreakers all over the place. Nah, they barely got any stun breakers, and this even isn’t a true stunbreaker. Let this be.

2. Dhuumfire already got nerfed, corrupt boon as well. Corrupt boon is a decent skill but misses pretty often as well. People need to learn the difference between good skills that are used against them, and skills that are overpowered and way out of balance with other skills (which Corrupt Boon isn’t).

3. Same goes for Signet of Spite, but with a long cooldown on this skill and the loss of the passive, this skill does not need to be nerfed. There is a clear graphical image when this skill is used, and is dodged very easily.

4. Let me guess… you’re a thief?

Well talking about ele :
1) DS suck , 2 hits and no more condi immune ,expect you play full condi for the ultimate faceroll.
2) The last time i see a signet ele is nearly 1 year ago ,and he got no ideals what he’s doing . Btw ,expect signet of res ,these other signets is rarely use in combat .
3) Immune crit when you turn to earth only ,yeah ,cool ,i can survive again backstab thief.And if i want to beat him ,i cant only use earth skill set ,then i need to swap to these other ,no more crit immune ,thief will be happy ,thief steath and thief backstab again .Yay !

you never played elementalist i suppose … if you take diamon skin , written in stone or stone heart you have to take 30 in earth … and with d/d it becomes hard to kill someone … becouse you have to take 30 in arcana also or 15 in water …. so in my opinion it is better to take other things . stay alive, don’t die and don’t kill for me means nothing … for making bunker guardian or eng or warr make the same roles much better

Yeah that’s what I meant. Not sure where he’s going with this. Personally I am playing a condi necro and I don’t feel OP whatsoever. I’m pretty happy with where the spec is at balance-wise. If it were quite a few months ago I could see it, but now? Not a big issue.

The problem isn’t the duration (for me at least) its the amount of fears… 10 secs fear isn’t a problem, the problem its 3 fears of 3 seconds (mark, ds, nightmare runes etc…) for 10 secs fear, Stunbreaker and its gone, but 3 fears… its totally OP. “Take 7 conds and now i will chain 3 fears… I WIN!!, Im a skillful player!!!, I kill you facerrolling!!”

2. Deathshroud

Too much damage reduction, a MM can simply go afk taking damage with DS while the minions do the job… Only in MM have this problem

3. Dhuumfire

Now i think its OK

4. Signet of Spite

ok, no animation (so no “actively” dodgeable, it depends only of luck…), no requirements… and a necro can kill a low HP class just hitting a button. Yes insanely OP. Another “I win button” of the list.

5. Corrupt Boon

Its fine, imho, one class will be able to do that…

And turrets.

And the main problem.

Condition Damage.

Direct Damage needs 3 stats. (pow, pre and ferocity).

Condition Damage only 1.

That would be fine if condition damage was damage over time, and you can clean yourself easily (if you equip condition cleaning).

But now exists the condition burst (it will be a contradictory term!!!) its an aberration. And condition cleaning its ridiculous.

Main: Thief
Alter: Thief, Thief, Thief, Thief, and… Wait for it… Thief

Fear duration is actually low, we just have more access to fear than any other class as it should be.

Deathshroud is fine. bring some stability to negate fear.

Dumbfire was already nerfed and is now very telegraphed.

SoS I agree, nerf that so scrub necro’s will cry.

corrupt boon…… it was nerfed about a year ago to only corrupt 5 boons. if anything lyssa has been made a good rune set instead of the OP set it used to be.

Necromancers are in a really bad spot right now.

They don’t have enough mobility for many of the maps, and they have trouble stomping. Fear is both condi cleansed and stun broke. Maybe nightmare runes on invisible temporal curtain Mesmer on sky hammer are Imba, but necromancer is weak right now.

Elementalists aren’t quite viable yet. The good elementalists are good players, but the class isn’t top tier. Diamond skin shouldn’t be in the game because it is a passive hard counter, but it is not good either.

Healing signet is still Imba.

Engineers seem better after the patch, or maybe I’ve just run into fewer decap knock back engineers. Their problem was not incendiary powder.

He probably used to play 1 and couldn’t handle the complex faceroll.
And he also realized that he would not be taken serious if warrior was not on the list

1 thing i do agree on. Engy’s passieve burning procs needs to be nerfed like necro’s dhumpfire.
( make it a grandmaster trait / or make it only proc while using a kit )

Of your list, these are the ones that I think need a nerf:

Fear duration – Way too long right now. It isn’t fun to fight against either.

Diamond Skin – This is the opposite of the engi AR. Nothing should be 100%. Imagine if there was a trait that didn’t allow any direct damage when you were above 90%. People would complain. It is the same with this skill.

A few other comments:
1. I wouldn’t touch warrior right now. We need to see how things balance out.
2. AOE condition spam is too high right now.

1. Base duration is low.

2. Deathshroud op..I really thought i would never hear that. Really who the hell thinks DS is op.

I’m just gonna make a comment about Signet of Restoration since you seem quite clueless :

It was nerfed by 18% a year ago, PLUS it used to trigger 3 times per attunement, 1 time on EA, 5 times on #2 in earth and all of that is gone.

Now they rebuffed it by 17% because they realized that no one used it at all (maybe because it was nerfed too hard). They didn’t restore the other procs so it’s not back to what it was : it’s good, it’s not op. Not to mention, an elementalist that uses that heal will get kittened big time if he gets poisoned, bunker or not he will die.

Otherwise all the traits in earth require a pretty big sacrifice : 30 in earth, which is bad if the ele wishes to do damage and have decent condi removal. Written in stone is worthless compared to Heart of Stone which is okay since the ele won’t stay in earth attunement forever. There are many, many QQ thread about diamond skin which could be toned down.

About engineer : incendiary powder was already moved to master tier and engineer has no other way to do reliable condition damage other than that since the auto attacks suck and the bombs/grenades won’t work unless you’re close to the target. For instance, duel an ele with your engineer and ask him to run Stop, Drop and Roll. See how much damage you’ll do.

Flamethrower barely does any damage so incendiary ammo is fine. I wonder how we can be playing the same game tbh.

Necro: The condition ones have an I win button when fears are off cooldown; and everyone loves that button (when they can find it). The power/well ones seem tankier, which is ok with me (they need it)
Engineers: 7seconds of burn every 10 is too high, especially with the ridiculous amount of cond cover they have. Nerf the Balthazar runes pls
Warriors: Sigils of intelligence on hammer combined with runes of strength= dead opponent if stun breaker is on cooldown/not a mesmer. Nerf pls
Ele : no idea rly, they still seem to die while generally not killing you in a cc chain or from 1500 units away lol
Guardians: Can come close to insta gibbing (lousy mechanic if i have to say it)every 40 seconds, otherwise the dps builds are meh
Thieves: See all posts on stealth/burst/avoidance over 2yrs lmao
Rangers: Spirits are worse, otherwise the same

I dont really care about Burn :P

But what would you love to see in Conditions Characters ? :

a) Be ranged – huge dps – low survibility (a.k.a Necromancers before 3 months) ?
b) Be ranged – medium dps – high survibility (a.k.a Elementalist February 2013 or Wars) ?
c) Be ranged – low dps – huge survibility by aplying constand aoe Weakness+blind+Criple+Freeze+Corrupt Boons (beeing masters of the battlefied – Meele cannot hit them ) and their Support Characters beeing their weaknees ? (for example giving guardians channeling spells the ability to remove condtitions every 1 sec )

Ele and necro are fine. Engi is too strong. Hambow constant 25 might stacks with strength runes is even stronger than it was before. Spirit ranger is too weak now.

From my PoV condition necroes became much bigger threat since patch. That’s the only class I don’t play from that list so I cannot say for sure why (except for nightmare runes, they are ridiculous), but it seems to be completely braindead condi/fear spam. Yes, this needs to be fixed. And yes it will not be fixed until new pvp rebalance patch somewhere in October.
Condiengie became stronger due to improved burning but it also feels much squishier since a lot of direct damage build were buffed It is also hardly countered by condi necro, so I think it is nice.
Warrior is still a warrior, nothing changed. Well, I think this need such class for people who wants to feel themselves cool, but don’t want to put any effort in that.
Ele is in better place now, but still far from being OP. Not being completely unviable isn’t enough to be viable, you know. Ele still lacks a role in fight. However traits and skill from the list have nothing to do with ele’s power. Diamond skin is bad, stone heart is even worse, signet of restoration doesn’t cover ele’s weaknesses (ele doesn’t have warrior’s armor and health pool to slowly recower with signet after burst) and written in stone is a joke since ele’s signets suck (I have no idea where do you see pople that play this trait).

That being said, pets both suck and blow. They hit relatively hard for ai (if built that way—sucks to fight them with the regen possible) and are easily kited, as such your damage output as bm blows (potentially)

In this thread lets hear your opinions about this.

Necro
1. Fear Duration
2. Deathshroud
3. Dhuumfire
4. Signet of Spite
5. Corrupt Boon

1. Only this long if traited and only matters with terror.
2. Only power necros actually camp deathshroud and I have never heard power necro called OP. And if you want to nerf access to necros deathshroud I suggest you give them stability, vigor, and more regen/protection… you know all that good stuff that they didn’t give necros because of deathshroud.
3. Dhuumfire was pretty much removed from most condi builds since most condi builds don’t camp deathsrhoud.
4. Signet of spite could use a shave I agree but it still isn’t used by most necros anymore because it only really went well with dhuumfire/fear combo.
5. Corrupt boon got nerfed over a year ago. Now its 5 boons not all boons… ever try corrupting a d/d ele? Stability is one of the last things to get corrupted.

Elementalist
1. Diamond Skin
2. Written in stone
3. Stone heart
4. Signet of restoration

1. Eles have lowest armor/HP. Removing 10 percent of their health should be fairly easy for most…
2. Written in stone? Yeah because we have so many full signet eles in PVP
3. Only when attuned to earth also means they don’t have diamond skin… Complain about one or the other… not both.
4. Used to be garbage now it doesn’t suck… QQ more please.

Warrior
1. Healing signet

Healing signet needs slightly more than an 8% nerf however the issue with warriors now is the new sigils of intelligence with fast hands and the new runes of strength.

Engineer
1.Inciendery powder (THE BURNING)
2.Inciendery ammo

1. The issue with engineers burning is not this trait but the new balthazaar runes which put this trait over the top. It’s kind of like when Anet introduced dhuumifire and people started griping about it so they decided to reduce terror damage and the bleed stacks necros got from certain skills. Your complaint about engineers burning doesn’t address the root cause which is most definitely the new rune of balthazar.
2. You find me a GOOD condi engi which actually takes flame thrower… Other wise all flame thrower is good for is decap cheese.

What I think about it..
Fear OP
Deathshroud OP (needs nerf)
Dhuumfire OP (needs nerf)
Signet of Spite OP (Needs nerf like runes of lyssa)
Corrupt boon OP (needs nerf like runes of lyssa)
Diamon Skin kind of OP (needs nerf)
Written in stone (well it is OP) (needs nerf)
Stone heart it is OP (needs nerf)
Signet of restoration, pretty much OP (needs minimal nerf)
Healing signet still kind of OP (well… we all know it)
Inciendery powder. HOLY MOTHER OF TYRIA IT IS OP ( definitely needs mega ultra nerf)
Inciendery ammo, its OP(nerf it)

1. Fear-terror damage has been reduced. Pack a stun breaker or stun the necro. Fear necros have no stunbreaks.
2. Dhuumfire is pretty much useless….(good)
3. Signet of Spite- yes needs a shave but not terribly.
4. Corrupt boon is fine now.
5. Diamond skin/Written in stone/Stoneheart/Signet of restoration-see above they are fine… Ele’s are strong again because of the reverted cleansing water nerf.
6. Yes healing signet still needs a slight shave.
7. Incendiary powder is not the root cause of the current problem with engineers and burning the new balthazaar runes need shaved with higher ICDs on the healing skill portion.
8. Incendiary ammo is dependent on the flame thrower which outside of incendiary ammo is garbage for anything but a decap engi.

All in all this post is hyperbole and gives no reasoning for why you want said things nerfed.

Ele is fine. Diamond skin just needs a bit of a change. Necros would be fine if they all weren’t running Nightmare runes. That’s what kind of makes them a bit ridiculous right now. The runes should be shaved though not necros. Also it’s Balthazar runes that need the nerf not engis.

Necro: Fear stacking I can agree with it but the rune has plenty to do with that
Ele: a big fat NO
Engi: maybe but edging more to no
Warrior: healing signet I agree that it could be healing a little bit less

but overal I don’t think they need alot of nerfing just a little tweak here and there.
The only profession that does need one is Anet’s love child ‘The Mesmer’
