since the patch loads of people came back which is amazing, the problem is they came back for a week and left again CAUSE NOTHINGS CHANGED!!! seriously why would you think these changes need to settle before adding new game modes its been too long already youve lost so many players put courtyard in tournament que otherwise its just pve seriously youve let us down with no new games modes, the combat in this game is awesome, why do we have to keep focusing on points for like 2 years its been 1 game mode and the only map to stay in team que was temple of the silent storm, so guys its getting close to being too late for this game release new game modes and people MIGHT and this is a small might cause youve taken so long, come back. and no death match isnt enough we need GVG and guild halls thats SHOULD have already been in developement before the game came out, this is guild wars 2 isnt it?? are you allowed to use any ideas from gw1 cause you copied the name of this new map from gw1 so where are all the other pvp modes like in guild wars 1. please guys were all on our last legs. you need to tell us with in a week when new modes are coming or people will never come back, and this game will go to free to play by the end of the year.

haha nice and sadly true. This game is horrendus. I uninstalled because it is boring and lame.
Why is this? Because you end up with a lame game mode where you can’t just have fun and kill stuff but instead you HAVE to run about standing on empty points. If I wanted to do fetch quests like this I would kitten off to PvE

Theres no reason dude and if youd spent mode than 10 minutes in pvp youd realize this is just long over due, and behind a pay wall couldnt be more apt. dont get involved in discussions when you dont even have a clue

Well, first and foremost it’s not actually behind a paywall at all; There where already a lot of CAs before Courtyard. Sure, the new game mode probably made more CAs appear, but those paying for them do so willingly.

You do not have to pay anything to play Courtyard. There’s no paywall whatsoever to play Courtyard. There is a paywall to have your very own CA that you dictate over, but that is by design and that is how it was before as well.

The reason why I don’t think ANet have their own Courtyard servers is because that map is currently in an experimental phase; they do not know what to do with it yet, so they just threw it in there to see what the community made of it.
I think that if they would have their own Courtyard servers, the rules on those would be considered the norm, the proper way it should be played. Instead, let the community come up with their own approaches to the game mode. I think that is a better way to do this experiment.

I can agree though, that a new game mode is very long overdue.
