1. New Spells, Weapons, Traits overhaul, new Meta (Nothing over the opportunity to try new builds and spells keeps me playing atm).
2. More efforts on the classes’ balance, less on developing the Living World.
3. Faster and more frequent addressing of problems in the class balance.
4. New Weapons and Armors skins (hoping in some decent designer). NO RECOLOR, NO RECYCLING OLD MESHES.

1) A new balance team.
2) Major focus on bug fixes.
3) New game modes.
4) Particle spam, both from individual skills (d/d ele, nade engine etc) toned down and total particle effects in team fights.
5) No more mindless spam builds.
1: Triple the staff to implement the changes above and below (seriously most people don’t understand coding at all let along the development time behind it).
2: First new weapons that already exist in game for each profession(and the traits to back them up)
3: Second new utilities for each profession (orders for necros please).
4: Third new weapons that currently aren’t in the game.
5: New content in general before living world crap. This includes new maps, and new game modes in PVP. New maps for WvW and new dungeons and maps in PVE.
1. guild vs guild system, guild house
2. add a 10+ people dungeons
3. no more living story, just concentrate on PvP or WvW
4. add new trait and new weapon to every profession
5. balance everyting every month
1. A good pvp centric new gamemode, that isnt to zergy.
2. Class tweaks that focus on making all classes easy to get in to, but hard to master.
3. Skyhammer out of the soloqueue rotation
4. Better ladder system + seasons
5. More people playing this game in pvp (as a result of the above)
I think the new gamemode (s) will be make or break time for GW2s pvp. If it ends up being disapointing (again) the few remaining pvpers will abbandon ship.
If it ends up being really good, the pvp population will skyrocket.

1. 100% new balance team. Clean house.
2. New Game modes – 2fort, de_dust, team DM, GW1 GvG
3. Monthly automated tournaments
4. Larger custom arenas and maps to accommodate WvW style GvG

I can imagine that its relatively hard to design a map with a lot of leaves / vegetation while keeping it watchable at the same time tho.

Intriguing! Although, that one did not make it, did it? They talked about the traps and prisoner dilemma in that Sylvari proto-map, which is definitely something I want to see coming to real !!

Am I the only one, thinking that new skills + balance is just dumb?
We got plenty of skills, balance them first, redesign unviable ones and make build diversity become more than just a wish.

1) Condi builds nerf: sick and tired and about to quit because of mindless aoe/condi spam + tankiness from many classes…really really wish condi builds (aka toughness/condi, cough engis) would get punished with survivability los if they go for dmg like direct dmg builds do.. right now if you go direct dmg, you have to stack power and prec( and crit dmg in most cases), condi builds only need condi stat, rest can be healing/toughness etc.. making powe builds really weak in comparison and obsolete
2) skyhammer removed from tpvp
3) spiritwatch orb redesigned: while carrying orb every class regardless traits/runes/utilities runs at the same speed, the first 5 spells are replaced by orb special spells, porting/popping invul/stealth makes you drop orb
4) add skins obtainable only on pvp but usable in pve (like zenith skins kind of)
5) new game modes
- rewards for leaderboard
- eles
- viable sustained heal (lifesteal) for necro so you can survive pets
- no loss when dc in team q
- other game modes
- less AI (or weaken all pet builds for pvp)
- give this automated heal to all of us or get finally rid of it (aka healing signet) aka balance more frequent pls
- remove skyhammer from tpvp
- more variety (DM, CtF, KotH etc ; 2v2, 3v3, duoQ ; ranked+unranked teamarena)
- automated tournaments (gw1 style) (earning QP in daily, needed to participate in monthly)

These guys care, these guys listen, but they can’t help.
So far they have been focusing on fine tuning balance, in a game with crippling issues throughout its core (conquest, conditions, exc).
It’s kinda like what they were doing with matchmaking, tweaking an MMR formula for half a year while 4v5s and low ranked players stopped any of those tweaks from ever helping the game.

1.A PvP living story ( Every 2 week balance updates and new rewards :P)
2. Better class balance, more in depth (we all saw the elementalist changes last patch)

4. Exclusive pvp rewards, that can be displayed in PvP and PvE (Say, a cool armor set for getting your classes champion title)
5. Better Dev interaction, Updates on whats happening balance wise, community polls for balance changes, etc…..
Sorry for making 6, but needing 25 skill points is ridiculous and I could not imagine if one of the new healing skills was required for a meta build…. Make them 1-3 skill points or free like everything else.

1. Skyhammer removed entirely, even from the history books
2. Heavy emphasis on balance. Infrastructure doesn’t matter when nobody is going to play a poorly balanced game.
3. An overhaul (remove/redesign) of all passive aspects of gameplay (anything that procs, or provides an RNG chance at something with an invisible counter).
4. Focus on infrastructure. Spectating, Rewards, Leaderboards, Game Modes, etc.
5. Any project involving additional content (skins, maps, etc).

(would require the use of an Asuran Memory Obliterator)
2. a button for hotjoin that never puts me in as a spectator
3. stackable locker (or just make acquired gear unlocked and accessible forever)
(this includes higher/unlimited stacking for powders/crystals etc)
4. build versatility and balance (make more builds viable and bring the EZmode builds in line with the others, LESS AI, its pvp!)
5. racial skills (i loved when they were in during betas, and perhaps you’d see less asuras, warriors might pick sylvari for the root, a thief might pick norn for stealthy snow leopard form, and an engineer might choose charr for the fun of charrzooka!)

1, Ai specs nerfed to the ground so they are not effective above beginner level
2, A considerable overhaul of the traits and utilities in the game – like you would get in an expansion
3, New game modes for 2-3 players in a tournament setting

Won’t happen though, I guarantee you. This game has been in beta/released for 2 years now. In 2 years they have achieved next to nothing from a balance perspective. I mean 90% of the useless broken traits are still there. Their body of work for 2 years is horrendous.

3. Map refinement, particularly for teleports- I can Infiltrator’s Arrow all over the shop on Temple of the Silent Storm, but on the release maps, I can’t do it anywhere
4. King of the Hill (other extra gametypes would be nice too)
5. Remember Reaper’s Rumble? Make a map which uses a mechanic like that map’s as its secondary objective.
6. All the new PvE runes/sigils added to sPvP. PERPLEXITY so fun

Heres my favorite..
1: COMBINE NA and EU pvp. Allows for instant increase in spvp population for tourny times/competition.
2: Nerf all forms of AI builds.
3: Remove immunity, passive play in turn for more rewarding play.
4:New game modes allowing for far far different types of builds
5: FIX THE OVER 1 YEAR OLD BUGS THAT HAVE NEVER EVER BEEN ADDRESSED!!!!!!!!!!!

1) Better and more frequent balance changes (Ones that actually open up new builds). I would also love to see some new grand masters that really buff certain types of skills (Gadgets, traps, turrets, etc etc). Right now, I think pretty much only guardian, warrior and engineer have the ability to run every type of build effectively. I hope someday every class can be anything they want (Bunker thief!)
2) Automated Tournaments (Daily and Monthly) with really high end rewards for the victors.
3) A better tutorial that actually takes players through a mock PvP battle, introduces each condition and boon, introduces capture points and how they work, and introduces stomping.
4) Better testing stuff in the mists that make it easier to see exactly how effective my build is. Something for healing and damage would be amazing. I would not object to nameless masters.
5) New game modes. I don’t think every single one has to be competitive. 2v2 sounds amazing, even 3v3 does, but I really would love to see some fun ones like castle vs castle where players have to defend and attack each other’s bases (could be like GvG with siege and doors to break down!). I think this game needs a very casual style game mode that really draws in those intimidated by conquest.
