I have been playing a lot of sPvP lately and I have been noticing a couple things that are frustrating for me and I am trying to figure out if they are by design or if the game is bugged. I have had several cases where my minion pets just don’t attack. I was working my way to the keep lord yesterday and I engaged a ranger before I got there. I noticed while I was attacking the ranger that my pets didn’t engage at all. I would activate my utility skills or elite knockdown and they would do their special move and then not engage after that. This doesn’t always happen, but I notice it a ton more when I try to push with my minion build than when I bunker home.

Additionally, with that same ranger fight and many others, I notice that the #2 skill in the down state sometimes doesn’t apply fear to the correct player. I was using the #1 skill on the ranger but when I hit #2 to fear him, his pet got feared when the ranger was the target the entire time and had no stability!?!

Is there something I am doing wrong?

Ah! Thanks! At least 1 of the 2 things I was having happen isn’t a problem. Still curious if others are having issues with the minion AI.

Welcome the “OPkittenefacerollpettingzoo” (irony) Minion Master since end of 2012 (not irony).
Some improvements to the AI have been done, but this flaw still persists.

Usually you have to land almost 2 autoattacks so that Minions start attacking, but this won’t happen every time, kittening all your timing.

But yes, this is pointless by the moment people cry out loud MM is op, so a DECENT fix isn’t needed. Again irony?
