Need Easy to play PVP build
Look up Soldier’s Hambow for Warriors. Morbidly overpowered and silly easy to play!

Or condi warrior with settlers and shouts/heal. Though I don’t recommend that for anyone to play, it’s an abomination of a build; however if he needs something braindead to play…
1. Hambow is a lol-start. But why not.
2. And no, pve level does not affect sPvP at all, as you have access to everything as if you were 80 and unlocked all the skills by default in the sPvP realm. If you are talking about WvW however (where PvE level does matter), this is the wrong place to ask.

ignore the people telling you to play hammer warrior that build isn’t very good and is incredibly difficult to play!
you should play axe/axe ranger with a bear, thats the current meta!

You kidding right?
Glass staff ele is the easiest to play and it’s so op.
Play my MM 20/0/30/20/0 build. Ogre runes, soldiers ammy, dagger warhorn/ staff.
Consume condies, rats, shadow, bone fiend, and flesh golem.
???
Profit.
Enjoy the tears! <3

Can you guys give links?
… and remember he is a new player and his play style is a little slow. Which is the reason that I did not give him my PVP Ranger build.
I really appreciate the community helping a new player. (he will need it LOL)
Play with the thief. Everybody says that is OP.
Try 14/14/14/14/14 full signet Condi Guard, make sure you use Rampager’s and scepter/torch + scepter/shield

For new players use either the hambow with soldiers or condi/shout warrior with settlers.
I just tested the hambow with this build

And it wrecked havoc. It is similar to the above PVE build so I think he can start with that. Though I will try to get him into the other suggested builds as he progresses.
Thanks you all for your suggestions.

No use this for MM necro. I’m telling you, he will win no matter what. And if not, I’ll teach them a thing or two and they’ll be top 200 NA in about 2 days.

Very cool I will try this out tonight after work.
I am deeply touched at the community to help an inexperienced player.

Some of them, well a lot of them were not actually being helpful. The only helpful ones are those that recommend hambow.
@Silentshoes.1805
hambow is the easiest one. Anybody can play it.
This is an mmo forum, if someone isn’t whining chances are the game is dead.

RonPierce was being helpful. It’s a very powerful build when you get good at using the chills and immobilizes to hold your opponent still to let the minions to attack efficiently.
Silentshoes (Thief), Wind of the Woods (condi ranger)
I was trying to give them what they asked… I was top 10 NA tpvp and only played MM to tether there, and because of the incoming nerf to Lyssa, MM will certainly be a “safer” start out for a BRAND new person. They just need to learn how to combo a few ccs and to at least “pretty good”.

Ron, and what are those specific combos, again? They are key to the MM build.
Silentshoes (Thief), Wind of the Woods (condi ranger)
Typically I open with:
Haunt (Shadow fiend active)+ Rigor mortis (Bone fiend active). They both have a small delay. Then use staff 5 immediately after to get them off balance while those 2 pet abilities land, so they should be blinded and immobilized for a good time (2.5×2=5 sec immob)
Lay a Chillblains on them for poisons and chill.
Swap to dagger and use warhorn4 for the daze effectively stunning the enemy by dazing them in a root, and use dagger 3 while they’re unable to react to extend the root.
Use war horn 5 and dagger 1 for some life force.
As they start regaining control use charge to knock them down. If they try to heal quickly tap into DS, use #2 and 3 to fear them, which allows dark path to easily land for a chill and bleed. Use DS 5 for the delayed immobilize and drop out.
Use haunt in CD and same with other ccs, and just be aggressive with dagger attacks and swarming the enemy.
Edit: fixed some errors, on a phone.

Ron, that is very valuable. Thanks!
Silentshoes (Thief), Wind of the Woods (condi ranger)
Definitely hambow, although imo a support guardian is easy to play but at least requires some dodging and timing.
Hambow is easy, but the easiest is engi for sure. Just run x/x/30/30/x. You can stand on a point spamming bombs and grenades and do fine.
Assuming he’s a warrior main class, definitely have him run hammer/longbow.
Hammer/longbow is one of the best builds for team fights and is decent at holding and capping points.
Personally, I don’t run a soldiers amulet when I run the build b/c it has mediocre damage output.
I run 10/0/30/0/30 for hammer/longbow, with a Beserker amulet, and Hoelbrak runes.
I use a Superior Sigil of Force in my hammer (will be using Superior Sigil of Fire after the patch) and a Superior Sigil of Hydromancy or Energy on my longbow.
First trait line: “Great Fortitude”
Second trait line: N/A
Third tait line: “Dogged March”, “Cleansing Ire”, “Merciless Hammer”
Fourth trait line: N/A
Fifth trait line: “Signet Mastery”, “Destruction of the Empowered”, “Burst Mastery”
Healing Skill: “Healing Signet” or “Healing Surge” (Totally preference)
Utility Skills: “Balanced Stance”, “Dolyak Signet”, “Endure Pain”
Elite Skill: “Signet of Rage”
Hope this helps!
