People that actually play a lot and are highly ranked. I dont care what anyone says about glicko 2 an its ability in a small amount of games there rating is way more legit then the the people right around on the LB with 150 or less games played. I dont kn ow how this system could justify given Nos, Darek, and Paul a higher ranking then both of them. They wouldn’t be in just about any other online pvp game at the very least would give them a small boost for how much they have played and won compared to the others. Its ridiculous quite frankly. Get out of your world of algorithm worhsipping pvp devs and start acknowledging excellence on a large number of games and putting your rating out there a ton over protecting it. We don’t have to go just by MMR why not add some secret sauce to the equation to boost MMR rating for winning a lot of games at a higher rate. That should be rewarded. LoL wouldnt work like that you ccould never be in front of those two with 1/3 or less of there games and fairly comparable win percentages.
PvP players want the titles, alot of the purest dont care for the gold.
For instance i was ranked in the top 150 had 1 bad day where i kept playing and fell into gold 3. Wasnt a good feeling and ive taken games slowly and got back into the 1750 range.
Simply put Anet needs a Minimum Games played and to get rid of the decay system.
People shouldnt lose points because they quit playing for 2 weeks when they played 400 games and we have people in the top 10 with less then 150 games.
IMO the decay system is crap, I have 4-5 people on my friends list who have played 200+ games and were in gold/plat and now sit in bronze because they had work. ( we are old, super sorry)
This current leader board is fine since we are 3-4 days from its end but ANet really needs to look into how the leader board works and put it on the forum for Dwaynas sake.

yea matchmaking isnt great. i remember that night too, a lot of close games simply because our teams had silver players too

Holy Christ Sephiroth, that’s a SIX HUNDRED MMR discrepancy for those two players alone, let alone what the other 3 members of their team were. That is such a spectacular failing of the matchmaking this game can provide.
