I really would like a replay, damage recap system in PvP because right now I cant learn and I feel like I’m heavily cheated.
Every 4-5th game I found somebody who insanely big burst or insanely resilient.
I give an example. I faced a guardian with an engineer with soldier runes so 25k life and >2k armor. First I was bombarding him with grenades because he was busy with another teammate then he switched attention to me teleporting to me (prob with Judge’s intervention, than Hammer Might Blow and Banish and I WAS DOWNED) There is a possibility there was another skill used but highly doubt it because all of this happened in under 1s. I didn’t had time to swap and activate my static shield.
So with insane damage I refer to players who can burst down 20k life with 2k armor with only 3 skills (not channeled ). or with insane resilience I refer to players who can withstand the fight with 3 players for about 30-40s barely being damaged (10-20%).
I’m not a BAD BAD player, in almost every game I got at least 3-4 tops at the end but I know I’m new at pvp, and want to learn and that’s why I need some replay system with pause and slowmo. The damage recap, I heard there was such thing in the game but why it isn’t now?
Sorry for double posting probably the replay system was disgust already, but I searched the forum with the “replay” keyword but zero result.

2k Armor is like double layer paper.

Player who can withstand the fight against 3 other barely taking damage?
Can be done for example by Cleric Guardian, but whatever.

You lack knowledge and experience regarding Class mechanics and builds.

There are indeed DPS hacks floating around. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, they’ve been around for years as well as many other bozo cheat mods. You won’t usually see much of it in spvp and even when you do, you never see their names twice “which means they’re getting reported and banned”.

I’d say about 1/20 matches I run lately, I see someone running obvious hack mods. More than likely due to recent free to play accounts.

Run a google search on gw2 cheats/hacks/bots. Learn about them, how to identify them and help report it.

But don’t report players unless you are sure 100% for a fact, that they are cheating.

Also, you can’t JI+MB as efficiently anymore (really small opening to do it), so you have enough time to dodge.

2k armor is also the base. Also, I’m guessing he would’ve had to proc SoW+smite+air+fire+glacial heart+MB and all of them would have to crit to down a 25k HP target (and even then I’m still not sure guards can burst that hard). You obviously need to pay better attention is all.

You have Breakdown system already to list skills and damage inflicted by them.

But replay? Use some application, record your matches and afterwards analyze them.

Since there are hundreds of such apps out there, then I see no reason to even implement something like that in game.

Yes please, especially now that we will be having e-sports fests. Can we spectate live as well please?
