Guild Wars 2

These two builds have been OP since beta, yet we still haven’t seen enough* nerfs to them. (there was the one nerf when we fixed elementalist talents and took away their spam blast finisher.)

They both do way too much damage and completely dominate the meta.

I have no idea why arenanet thought it was okay to give these two super defensive weapon sets with ridiculous gap manipulation such high damage. Ranger damage is supposed to be balanced around scaling with their pets, so normally power builds arent viable, but the longbow is the clear exception. As for elementalist, dont even get me started on how lethal eruption can be! Giving ele this over powered opportunity to hit with perfectly hybrid condi / power damage is ridiculous! Nobody is prepared to survive both types of pressure from a more focused source, they all specialize rock paper scissors and just accept that one of those two offense types will defeat them, so this mix is unstoppable in the meta.

Can’t tell if trolling or serious. Rangers are garbage with every weapon except sword. And you people keep asking them to be nerfed and make them even more garbage for pve and pvp. Play the class and see by yourself instead of crying for nerfs on forums.

Dagger/Focus is probably the least played Ele set. I can’t even recall seeing it. I’ve seen everything but it, but no one cares apparently to say anything about it.

I´m sure it´s a troll post, everyone knows that eles are probabaly the baddest class at this moment in the game(no matter which build or weapon), just look at the elementalist forums and see how ANet ignores the threads.

While you’re at it please nerf p/p thieves and mantra mesmers.

Ps. Really though, which elem uses staff in spvp nowadays?

I knew this was a troll post the moment I saw Staff ele and nerf in the same sentence.

By now I hope everyone recognizes that staff ele is THE most underpowered class/combo in the ENTIRE game outside WvW zerg wall raids, in which anything with more than 900 range is good so thats not a good excuse.

I have yet to see a single red post on the ele forums too, I already rerolled guardian long time ago and laugh at the free kills Im getting from targetting eles………………..then I cry because I love eles and it sucks seeing them in such a shi]tty situation

Longbow ranger can hit for 10k with rapid fire. However it requires the entire team to lock down a target for that burst…. Not to mention SQUISHYYYYYY long bow ranger. But it is fun mega nuking for that much.

10k over 4.5 seconds is awful. So I’m not exactly sure why anyone would care?
Aimed shot for Warrior can hit for 20k in 3.5 seconds every 8 seconds.

I honestly don’t understand why having glass cannon power rangers in this game would be so awful for this game. The Ranger has never worked as anything but a bunker/regen condi spec. It’s a shame.

no no this is no troll, staff ele do so much aoe damage, if you multiply their damage by 5 because there 5 on enemy team they hit like twice as hard per second as other classes.

pp thief and mantra mesmer are op 2 yes.

long bow is so obviously better than short bow, rangers scale with power too well, obviously.

Your thread was linked from the ele forums. Wasted 10+ minutes of my time reading through the posts, only to realize how much you were trolling. But successful troll is successful i guess.

If anyone gets continuously rolled by staff eles they might want to try another game, seriously.
