You should really fight a good! elementalist with celestial… you will see, he will just run away and then coming back with his full hp.

Luckily for you 90% of all dd eles are bad. You’re safe.

I can run, heal and come back…on basically any profession, if you were facing good eles, you as mesmer would be dead simply because the ele is using a bruiser/point holder build and you’re a full glass cannon ( with decent survival I dare to say).
At equal skill level you would lose on a mesmer using shatter build so….you are not facing good eles at all, still…

You say the ele is running away from you..

-Are you defending a point? ( then the ele definetely worst than you if he can’t decap a shatter mesmer )
-Are you assaulting a defended point? ( then ele is even worst as he got decapped by a shatter mesmer )
-Is this during a team fight? ( then your entire team is bad as hell, you can’t lock down and kill a half dead target, blame yourself only)

Learn to play please.

cele is fine, sigils need a complete rework.

Everytime I talk to Toptier Players, or the good WvW Roamers, everyone of them says that celestial in general is just broken OP.
I recently made a build with celestial on Mesmer. Haha, it was so brain AFK and you can still everyone kill with it. Even managed a 1vs3 against a Pre-Made who was probably in Teamspeak.

I played never never never elementalist, but tried cele. And I won a few 1vs1. If you can play, you will faceroll with this. And thats why it is OP. You can play it, no problem, but in my opinion its broken like the LB Ranger with 5k Autoattacks. Just my point of view

It seems that you beat bad cele d/d…because they’re bad and you lose against “other” celestial d/d ..because they’re OP despite using the same spec….I see

What this got to do with the spec?
This is mostly related to the players you’re facing, that must be even worst than you on your first day on ele…unless you can prove with a video that you can beat a decent player on any other class, despite not having much experience with ele

And no…nerfing celestial, even to the ground, won’t stop good eles from dominating you, no matter how you put it, a good player will always win over the bad one.

An amulet doesn’t make you pro…it’s completely BS to say otherwise

there’s your problem, you talk to roamers.

d/d and shoutbow were designed to hold nodes, support allies and outsustain everything that tries to take the node away from them, sacrificing a lot of damage for that compared to their berserker or condition counterparts.

it is your own problem if you engage them in a 1v1 instead of doing your role in a match by +1 fights… or winning teamfights with your own support classes.
PvP is not balanced around 1v1.

I said beat the bad ones, because they are just bad. A good celestial Ele is quicker, knows combos, knows maybe your class, knows the skills better. And if a player knows this, the celestial amulet is just OP broken.
And wtf? No, a good player DOESN’T win everytime against a bad one. Because there are things like luck, mistakes everyone can do and skills/ builds which are just broken ( there are counters too)
And I don’t said to nerf it to the ground. I said to balance it.

Yea mate, but I said ‘or’. In WvW there are many builds which are just broken OP. I am talking mostly about PvP, I just wanted to show you guys which amount of good Players think that cele is broken.
And I know, that it’s not balanced around 1vs1. But if you can do everything with just using an amulet/build, then my friend, there is something wrong.

you appear to be confusing your subjective opinion with that of objective fact. Making declarative statements in post over and over does not make your opinion any closer to fact then anyone else’s.

I do not feel celestial is even remotely broken.

For example, can you do anything remotely close to what your complaining that these good celestial ele’s can do?

Not only do I not feel celestial gear is not particularly strong, you haven’t provided any reasonable evidence to support it. As well, I feel you have offered no compelling argument on the matter.
