Nerf ele but druid is untouched?
read patchnotes, druid was nerfed ^^
(my suggestion is to remove dolyak rune from pvp, becouse of the sixth bonus a druid gets astral form to often)
It still doesn’t change the fact about how ridiculous they are still. Also I am reading the patch notes, in what aspect were they nerfed that affected the meta sPVP builds that everyone runs. I am looking it over and just dont see it. All i see are changes to pets and an axe change.
Agree with Remove dolyak rune.
OR! …somehow…just somehow reduce how much astral force a Druid gains from healing…

Ele could tank 3 players while holding base, thats why it got proxy nerfed from the removal of cleric. As for direct nerfs druid got nerfs to its survivebility as the ele got if not more.
Druid cant tank even 2 players while holding a base, to survive it needs to kite around and stealth which will make the druid to lose capping.
This meta is shaping out to be very hard for druids so I dont even see the reason for this post, every match you c like 2-4 REVS , 2-4 WARRIORS, 2-4 DH , maybe 1-2 druids.

I saied they also suffered direct nerf togather with druids defensive tools and many other sustain aspets of the other professions, as well.
Some inter-department politics are probably keeping balance with fun gameplay from being achieved. If the PvP team can only advise what changes can be made to skills and if the balance team seems more PvE oriented, then they’re not going to know what sorts of changes need to be made to make PvP/WvW combat fun and rewarding for skilled play. I’m expecting better things with one of the last updates allowing skill splits between PvE/PvP skills, but I’d like that for WvW too since it’s often a place where exaggerations of builds see play. By removing amulets and runes, those are only band aids to real skill balance.
Remember a few metas ago when Cele Rifle Engi was meta, it was Shrapnel (Major) and Incendiary Powder (Grandmaster) in Explosives, but skill split Incendiary Powder from Explosives into Firearms and Cele Amulet is dead on this class. Engis were forced into Soldier Amulet and weren’t quite in the greatest place at the time. It wasn’t the amulet that was the problem, but they can help to facilitate different build variations. You can move traits, adjust cooldowns, adjust the basis of what each trait does to achieve balance. It’s a delicate balance. Don’t just remove amulets or runes because that might kill possibilities for build diversity or nerf something to the point of unusability. I look at traitlines and see “this one is defensive” or “this one is offensive”, when a class has to take all defensive or all offensive traits, the class is being backed into the corner where skill matters very little or very much. Where in the latter case the player has to work a lot harder for very little reward compared to other classes.

Lol what? The balance team is most definitely PvP oriented. Otherwise PvE builds wouldn’t be destroyed on a regular basis because they are too strong in PvP.
TBH druid is probably the best class in pvp rn.

Well, the ping pong game between balance team and pvp team is about to blame each other for the problems we have.
Best way to fix problems, is to acknowledge them first. Then work on a way to fix them.

Nobody want the bunker amulet back anyway, not even the elementalists.
What the elementalists want is to have build variety again like we used to no matter what is the amulet.

There will not be any build variety for ele in the near future. ANET as shown they are completely incompetent with that in this HOT era. Better luck next xpac.
