I was just seeing if you guys where interested I want asking to a diversity tool XD
i’ve wanted this for awhile now there are certain stat combo’s that are missing, that would be a godsend if there were a few more options
Anet has said that they are going to be adding different stat combos to the gear. Recently with the last content patch we got Sentinel gear

So we are seeing new gear attributes, we are just not given everything all at once.

Not true at all. A toughness/power/precision amulet would go a long way towards helping many builds which are currently too squishy, but then lack enough offense when using a defensive stat combo like power/toughness/vitality. New stat combos are also relatively simple to add.
In the future, I’d also like to see the amulet stats split so that they’re not so lop-sided. Perhaps 2 rings instead of one amulet to allow greater stat customization.

No. Then you’ll have bunkers with Toughness, Vitality, and Healing Power as their stats. Even in the PvE stat combos, you still have one offensive stat.

This could work if there were stat limits placed on how much atribute types (offensive/defensive) you could use. Say if you get vitality and toughness, you’re unable to also pick healing power. Also a limit on stats itself, so you can’t go something like 1200 power + 700 precision…

I can see that working, though the rules might grow complicated. You need a total point cap for what can be spent among toughness, vitality, and healing power. You’d also need a maxium for a primary stat and secondary stats. However, you then have a weird ruleset for two “half-primary” stats where you found two combos where two of the three stats are the same and the primary of them is switched. You would also have to ditch the celestial stat because the ruleset for that is way too complicated or it would be a special rule.

Only partially true. While fixing trait lines will help a lot to encourage varierty, new amulets could spark some new builds be viable because that’s where the majority of our stats come from.
For example: If there was a version of Knights amulet (Pwr, Tough, Vital) for conditions (Condi, Tough, Vital) it would make tanky backloaded pressure builds more viable. Right now you have to choose between Toughness or Vitality if you want to go for condition damage.
I think it could actually be made quite simple.
Make a choice of either 3 or 4 stats, then instead of assigning the amount yourself you choose a stat you want and it’s priority. So like:
Stat A – choosing as Primary sets it at X value
Stat B – choosing as Secondary sets it at Y value
Stat C – choosing as Secondary sets it at Y value
Stat D – choosing as Tetriary sets it at Z value
Celestial could be made as 3rd option, that gives you all the stats in same, lower values.

I like these suggestions. The stat customization would make players feel unique and special hooking them to gw2.
I would like a precision toughness vitality amulet.
I only prefer precision over power because weapon proc’s more you crit, not how much damage you can do.
said that before and will say again, YES NEW amulets thank you do want. Been almost 9 months and not a single was added hahaha what a joke
