Apparently there’s going to be a new dragon finisher to be released soon. Something called the mystical dragon finisher.

Sort of coincides well with the whole Dragon Bash event coming up very soon.

That being said, how hilarious would it be if that finisher is like 10 times better than our current dragon -rank- finisher?

Note: this is a very conservative estimate. 10x better would be the equivalent of bear… 50 times better would be the equivalent of phoenix, and 100x better would be shark.

I wasn’t too disappointed with the dragon finisher. It’s a bit small, but overall the animation isn’t bad and I definitely like it better than Bear/Pheonix.

I would have preferred a dragon finisher with a fire theme that was like the dragon firework from the first LotR fireworks, but again, I think the dragon finisher would have always been underwhelming due to the size limits of finishers.

It is possible the new gemstore finisher will look a lot like the GW1 r15 dragon. This is the model for the finisher (and minipet that will also be released). I’m guessing it will be a part of Dragon Bash or maybe it has something to do with the China release.

i really hope this is just a rumour, gemstore finishers are always better than rank finishers, and dragon is a particularly disappointing example,

especially when you compare it to the GW1 dragon finisher, made so many years ago which is so much better.

honestly, rank 20 dolyak is better than dragon finisher, extremely disappointing after we got to see how good shark was,
phoenix and dragon are a total let down.

all rank finisher in gw1 has same model like the orange fire animation. then in gw2 from rabbit to shark it has the ghost animal animation. why they change the style with phoenix and dragon i have no clue but its ugly. so yeah shark finisher still the best for me. and i always bought all the finihser in gemstore so it wont matter to me i get to use them all anyways.

That Chinese dragon can’t hold a candle to the amazing llama/quaggan finishers.

Ya I woulda paid 2k gems for the shark emote, wouldnt pay 200 for the phoenix or dragon.

I really like Phoenix…..

It’s sad though that the gem store finishers just have so much more effort put into them and look a million times better than most rank finishers, it kind of defeats the object of trying to rank up to get them other than letting people know what rank you are. I understand that they want to make money from the gem store, but geez…

Phoenix is actually really cool.

Also the GW1 dragon finisher is kind of ugly, I like the lightning dragon we have now much more.

I hope they will add the best looking dragon ever to gemstore. We will have to invest many hours either farming gold to convert to gems or using our credit cards to earn them. I think they will really show who deserves to have a dragon.

In PvP all you had to do is play for hundred and hundred of hours, it is in no way related to experience nor skill.
