Warriors obviously needed more invincibility skills! 8+ seconds of total immunity wasn’t enough.
To think they nerfed mist form to not even allow heals while mist form doesn’t even let you attack…..it’s nauseating.

but berserker stance only gives immunity to basic condition damage.
burst damage still kills the warrior.

If you managed to die in 8 sec against warrior with 30 points in defense line, I would recommend you to try PvE.

from engi point of view ,my new heal skill will be useless probably , 4,4k heal every 32 secs(if traited) when i can have 5 k heal every 16 secs XD with heal turret or med kit

You haven’t seen ele’s new healing yet? It has no base healing value. Anet expects you to blast it on a water field for it to heal.

As I said in another thread, having looked at the in-game links for the new heals, I’m shaking in my pansy-kitten booties. Shaking in fear, not exitement, mind you. The mesmer and the ranger heals look broken beyond anything that warrior healing signet could ever muster. If those hit live, get ready to welcome our two new overlords.
The thief venom and engi heal look gimmicky and pretty niche, but I’ll withold judgement until I can play around with them. Also good to see meditation guards getting some love, though deeps guards are already beasts in the right hands.
Especially the mesmer heal, if it ticks every second, is… insane. Oh, and how nice of Anet to buff spirit rangers. If there’s one spec in the game that really needed a buff, it’s that one. O_o

8+ seconds of condition immunity on conditions where the duration’s weren’t longer than the 8 seconds. All other damage is still received.
Not exactly total immunity. Lets call it a face roll to ppl who spam conditions despite seeing the word “Immune” in big bold letters on their screen. Kinda like the ppl who spam attacks even though it is saying, “Out of range” in big bold letters on their screen.
From what I gather many of those skills would just improve already brokenly strong builds, except maybe warrior coz healing signet is just that strong.
ranger → makes spirit spammers even better?
necro → makes tanky types (mm/condimancers) stronger than they already are leaves glass pretty useless as ever?
mesmer → looks pretty insane too
guardian → looks really strong for some builds which already are pretty crazy
warrior → healing signet > all
thief → unsure depends on heal amount
engi → stun seems useful for some builds..
ele → asdf who plays ele? seems nice for some builds though.

AED for engi sounds very bad – more like anb excuse for ANET to not give engineer any actual stunbreakers (kitten if u get nuked by 2 people from max HP to 0 without being able to do anything – WHY DIDNT U BRING AED LOOOOOL NUUUUB!)

Bunker play is good. MMs aren’t even true bunkers, they’re hybrids. Anything to slow down the TTK is a good think, idk why people complain about it so much. At least versus hybrids you have some time to fight and people aren’t dying in 2-3 seconds flat left and right. The burst meta was lame as helllll. Same with the AOE meta. I’d rather be in a semi-bunker/hybrid meta than in a burst meta ANY day.

Well that’s your opinion. I think burstmeta took way more skill and coordinated play then this lame warrior/bunker meta. Now it’s just classes spamming their skill like brainless bots with huge survivability. For me and most of the other top or former top players i talk to it’s no fun. Why do you think all the good teams left? Yes – because the playstyle of these classes is lame and every noob can play it more or less properly that leads to to fact that skill doesnt matter a lot.
Well to be fair spamming evades and trying to burst someone down in 2 seconds wasn’t much about skill. The skill gap was who was coordinated to get the best opener, which is basically who won. The reason tankier fights are better (and of course it’s all opinion) is because you have to go longer with making the fewest mistakes, and that’s why its fun/strategic. Anyone can kill someone in 2 seconds but out lasting gimmicks and punishing them for it is much more fun. And people overuse the term bunkers. People call the following bunkers:
Condi necros (who use rabid… 1 defensive stat)
MM necros (Hybrid dps/tanks)
Any guardian… (Even dps are just a bit tanky, and that’s with zerkers amulet)
Yada yada, fill the specs, but you get the point. They’re not bunkers, they’re hybrids, and there’s nothing wrong with hybrids who can kill people at a more normal rate and not die in 2 seconds.

thief heal: around 6k heal if it doesn’t get blocked, parried, wasted on blind and if thief actually gets a hit on target; doesn’t offer anything else
i am guessing they wanted more thives to run venom share or something but the build is so bad….
in comparison HiS gives stealth (with trait based profits), regen, condi removal
withdraw offers short CD, dodge, heal and condi removal
skelk venom is just a cherry on top of all the nerfs that hit thieves in completely wrong way

For Necromancer we have another spell which has no synergy with Death Shroud.
In Pve it would be good in supportive builds. Why they didn’t work on making Well of Blood or Blood Fiend better is something which has no answer.
In Pvp it will be a total fail. The passive doesn’t work under DS, the heal won’t work under DS, it’s not unblockable, can be dodged, can be blocked by aegis, (if not the previous) the Necromancer can be CCed to death while the effect worns off, it can bel LOSed, you can stealth it and say goodbye, … who can add more, then add please.

Ranger and mesmer heals will be op. Rest will suck. Could change based on numbers but this is what I think atm

i think the venom on a venom share thief would be pretty strong in a teamfight. venom share is already strong but thiefs seems not to understand that venomshare is only strong in a teamfight and not for solo roaming

Mini, you realize that heal on hit proc has a 10 sec cd and spirits last 60 seconds and are down for 20 seconds if killed or time out so at best the proc is 3600 healing over 60 seconds plus the “on use” heal. The passive heal is less than 60 hp/s… That’s hardly complain worthy…. Healing spring will likely be better. The Necro heal might be OP though. (FYI i play mm necro and don’t play ranger) And you don’t see the sheer power in the Mesmer signet?!??

I think people need to really hold off crying about this spirit heal. Reason being; I don’t think anyone except nubs will use it. Healing spring is way better solo and team play, and if you have finishers you can self combo in the water field. Water Spirit heals like 650 every 10 seconds? That’s terrible. The on USE is also pretty meh.
Where is everyone getting the ideea the heal will come only every 10 seconds ? Just asking .No way all the gw2 community can be that NOOB seriously to believe that.
Anyone here actually know how spirits work or they just like to randomly spam stuff to fill a post ?
10 sec interval is spirit rebuff duration if in range
Buff has 35% chance to heal you every hit you do as long as you have the buff on you(wich is reaplied every 10 seconds)
Traited the spirit will have 70% chance to heal on every hit.Yes all spirit rangers have spirits traited for 70%.

You lose the buff on proc, Mini. Otherwise you would see people running around with 20s+ burning on them all the time, 2 years of swiftness, and perma prot AoE in team fights. lolz

I know that the tooltips in Mesmer traits often overlap terms like clones/phantasms/illusions, but I\m going to go ahead and assume that the tooltip on this skill is as accurate as it is meant to be; stating that only PHANTASMS count towards the healing, clones will not.
That means that most of the time you will be receiving the 1 phantasm regen rate, 2 if you are lucky, 3 almost never, the skill also lacks an interval rate; those numbers could be for every 3 seconds, not one second like warrior heal

IDK, it says illusions which is usually the term for either clones or phants. Clones are non damage copies, phantasms are the damaging purple entities and illusions are anything you summon as a Mesmer if I’m not mistaken.

If it does turn out to be clones and phantasms that that’s sad in many ways, mostly because running on Phantasms would create a lot of decision play. That and the fact that running from clones and phantasms is going to be way OP, especially for PU [which is already cheesy enough].
I was hoping that this signet could be a well placed and powerful addition for phantasm specs
PU is my biggest worry, not even Phant mesmers… We’ll just have to see though.
