New Necro Downed state
Did we actually get a good buff? Will have to test later when i can.
first time slotting downed state dmg? or was there something that was changed?

Definitely something has changed— I was 3/4ths health when I downed this necro— he tore through it and my downed state before I could dps him down.
Did this multiple times. He would just run to my point to die to use his downed state.
Have experienced the same from other necros as well.
downed damage is the same as before, necros just always had insane downed dmg

when u use dps build + trait 50% dmg in downed u are making insane dmg
it’s terror buff, a trait that deals damage on fear (downed 2 among others)

The reason is not Terror damage alone. It is 50% damage during downed state on a Life drain channel combined with it. You have to trait for nothing but Fear damage giving up everything else to be able to do any meaningful damage during a downed state.
50% damage trait has always done a ton of damage without Fear and Terror traits.

We are the masters of the dead, so please, don’t complain about our downed state. After the Terror trait buff is one of the few things we have good.

huh? im not using downed 1. Terror + fear when downed ability (fear of death) + #2 down fear. That’s 2 fears back to back, if you got a bleed on them when you went down first will crit around 1.2k, and the #2 downed fear will crit for 1.8k
Terror used to deal as much damage as pve confusion, but looking at the new wiki formula, it’s now 362base+30% condition damage instead of 130 base and 15% condition damage. Fear is really short though, so it will only deal one or two hits anyway. Kind of funny that its strongest form is in the downed state…
oh and 50% more damage while target has another condition, that’s important too.

Terror basically turns fears into a Burn Condition, and with the patch gains an extra 50% more dmg if there is a condition on the enemy.
So about 1000-1100 dmg per second on fears with the trait. With condition dmg builds.
God forbid we have something good.
I’m not seeing how this buff is significant in any way…
Best case scenario, it’ll allow you to win a 1v1 when downed with the enemy sub-10% hp.
