Is Stronghold the only thing we’re getting with HoT? What ever happened to those unused/unfinished PvP maps from before release?? I remember there being a Sylvari, Fire Legion, and talks of an Asura themed stage. I can’t find the old stream they were teased on to source this, but when/if I find it I’ll update this post.

I love PvP but cycling through a handful of maps over all these years is super boring, we need more visual variety – even if they were just reskinned versions of existing maps. An Asura themed Foefire would be rad.

I think sPvP should have a lot of areas to fight in, similar to how the new Smash Bros 4 has a Final Destination version for every stage. That’s like 30+ stages with the exact same shape, but different appearances to keep things fun.

Hopefully they are being worked on for a TDM queue that won’t come from an expansion.

I hope so, but it’s been years since I’ve seen the other unfinished maps I mentioned. I wonder what the hold up is? Besides the usual excuse of “working on HoT” will they work on them a bit after HoT release? Were they working on those maps before they started work on HoT?
