New PvP Modes.
I would love to see new maps in the map rotation.
Have you played the Asura fractal with the heptagon squares that drop. Imagine a map like this which is “Most kills win”. They have the design, they should add some modifications on the heptagons that drop, and the players that can make a heptagon drop.
A major issue with additional modes is without refocusing the core of their game design (conquest) you will not see them in Ranked. And Ranked is mostly what matters to the developers.

If Ranked is what matters the most to the developers then why are the three newest maps not in Ranked? Spirit Watch, Skyhammer and Courtyard.
Well courtyard was them throwing a bone to the community begging for something other than conquest. Skyhammer have you read the complaint that map got (I think it is funny because suddenly there are additional factor to pay attention to and that trips people up a lot), and Spirit Watch I can only guess is problematic for balance within it self. Agree or disagree doesn’t matter, we could argue all day and to what end?
Ranked is where most of there concerns are think about it the need to remain in the mist to queue (preventing missed pops), standard models only in ranked, the need for leader boards at all.
The hate for skyhammer wasn’t about the additional mechanics…it’s about the fact that some classes have a distinct advantage over others on the map. “Go forth and knockback”. The only complaint about the map I have now are the crappy camera angles.
I would love to see some other tdm maps but as far as other game modes…I don’t see them going very well. Balance at this point is “ok” and throwing another mode out there for them to try to balance around will only cause more problems imo. That’s why I am guessing they have been reluctant up to this point.
