Please, just fix the PvP ranked. It is not balanced, not at all. We got players with no skill to get Gold 3 or platinum.

I was hoping for good changes after the upgrade but not happened. Please, A.Net, fix this out.

It works itself out. If you’ve got people placed in Gold 3 with for real no skill they’ll probably tend to lose their matches against players with real Gold 3 level skill, right? If they continually lose those matches, what do you know, their MMR goes down and they drop lower.

Of course it works itself out. That’s the point of MMR: it corrects over play.

Better still: if it’s wrong, and places players too high, it actually gives the OP AN ADVANTAGE in their play! You see, the other team have five slots that can be filled by a “ranked-too-high” player, and the OPs team only have four slots that can be filled by them. (Since, presumably, the OP deserves their own Gold 3 or Platinum ranking.)

So, yah, the worst possible effect of this is that the OP wins more matches and ends up with their own ranking and MMR being artificially inflated until the poor quality players filter down toward the bottom of the rankings…

Your mmr is to low? You need to carry!

Your mmr is to high, you will lose

Yeah, not sure if those contradict each other since there are 5 persons in a team

But i am nosy, how much games would it need in gold to drop into silver? Not one single win?

In any division it’s hard to fall below 50/50 win rate unless you’re terrible. So a misplaced player can still hold their spot if they don’t play too many games.

I have to agree with post above. It is sometimes not wise to play games, especially during evening (for me) in solo que because I get this results.
Two 4 days ago I had a pleasant streak of 3-4 matches won in a row and a loss or two. Then it turned into a 50/50 situation of L-W-L-W-L-L-W-W kind on thing.
And now I fell from golden division after few days just because my team was clearly outmatched by the enemy matchup.
How to understand this? Am I just that bad? I always knew how to fight in every aspect of pvp in MMORPG’S, I live by this way and yet… I get run down by the system that wants me to lose? As I said once before, I do not have any excuse for matches that ended up with about 100 points gap, but the rest that has a considerable difference between points is just a mess. How am I supposed to carry or how is someone else in my team supposed to carry if we get crap instead of at least decent players?
